IT Support (Temporary – 9 months)
Are you motivated by bringing structure, stability and service excellence to IT operations? You could be the IT Support professional who helps strengthen and streamline our IT setup across Iberia.
This is a temporary 9-month position, offering a unique opportunity to play a hands-on role in restoring service predictability, improving response times and ensuring that our business-critical systems run smoothly every day.
Your new role
As IT Support in our Finance & Commercial Excellence department, you will support the stabilization and operational sustainability of the IT function across Iberia. Reporting to the IT Responsable Iberia, you will act as second-level support for business-critical applications while ensuring strong governance and quality of first-level support delivered by GBS/Helpdesk.
You will analyze complex incidents, identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions in close collaboration with HQ IT and external vendors. At the same time, you will monitor ticket queues, ensure SLA compliance and provide structured KPI reporting to improve service transparency and performance.
Beyond daily operations, you will review and optimize IT processes such as incident management, onboarding, CRM workflows and reporting cycles. You will formalize SOPs, reduce ad-hoc practices and strengthen documentation standards. You will also oversee local infrastructure and mobility management, ensuring reliable device lifecycle management, hardware tracking and operational meeting room systems.
Your work will directly reduce backlog, increase service quality and enable the IT Responsable to focus on strategic and transformation initiatives.
Your future team
You will join the Finance & Commercial Excellence team in Lu-Iberia, based in Barcelona. The team works closely with business stakeholders, HQ IT, GBS and external vendors to ensure that technology effectively supports commercial and financial operations.
We value structured thinking, accountability and collaboration. In this role, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy while remaining closely connected to both local and global colleagues. You can expect a pragmatic and solution-oriented environment where service quality and continuous improvement are key priorities.
The position is based in Barcelona, Spain.
What you bring to the team
You bring solid experience in IT operations and application support, combined with a structured and analytical mindset.
You likely have:
- 3–5 years of experience in IT operations or second-level application support
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (ideally Veeva)
- Basic knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps / Power BI)
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (mandatory)
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems or a related field is required.
As a person, you are detail-oriented and process-driven, with a proactive and solution-focused approach. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you take ownership of service quality. You are comfortable working independently and using KPIs to drive improvements.
