Compliance & Legal Officer

Are you driven by integrity, governance, and making a real impact across an organization? You could be our next Compliance & Legal Officer, helping ensure that everything we do in Iberia is aligned with both ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

This is your opportunity to work at the intersection of business, law, and compliance while contributing to improving brain health and transforming lives.

Your new role

As Compliance & Legal Officer, you will play a central role in safeguarding Lundbeck’s operations across Spain and Portugal. You will ensure that local activities are fully aligned with global policies and local regulatory frameworks, while actively supporting the business in navigating complex compliance landscapes.

You will oversee compliance processes, manage risk assessments, and review key business activities, including CRM entries and legal documentation. In addition, you will act as a trusted advisor to the affiliate, providing guidance that enables compliant and responsible decision-making.

This role offers a unique combination of operational responsibility, strategic influence, and cross-functional collaboration, with direct exposure to both local leadership and global compliance teams.

The position is based in Barcelona, Spain.

Your future team

Compliance & Legal is part of Lundbeck Iberia, and our office is located in Barcelona. You will work closely with the Managing Director, the Iberian Leadership Team, and colleagues across functions such as Commercial and Medical.

You will also collaborate with the global compliance team, contributing to shared priorities while adapting frameworks to local needs. Our culture is characterized by accountability, openness, and a strong focus on enabling business while safeguarding ethical standards.

What you bring to the team

You bring solid experience in compliance and a strong understanding of regulatory environments in Iberia.

You likely bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Spain and Portugal
  • Experience with risk management, internal audits, and compliance processes

As a person, you are structured, pragmatic, and confident in communicating complex requirements in a clear and actionable way. You build trust across functions and are comfortable challenging decisions when needed to ensure compliance and ethical standards.
