This is a non-exempt position with a 40-hour workweek.

 

SUMMARY: 

The Receptionist will provide administrative assistance to the Facilities Manager and assist with general office  duties. Responsible for greeting visitors, maintaining the badging system and serving as liaison between staff and site guests. Supports lab staff with maintenance scheduling and archiving of documentation.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for database of lab equipment vendors and maintenance calendar. Coordinate with lab staff and vendors for equipment maintenance scheduling
  • Organize catering for weekly lunches and meetings, facilitate delivery and set-up
  • Order and maintain snack and beverage inventory
  • Scan and archive research documents and manage the database for these records
  • Order office supplies and stock office supply centers
  • Schedule meetings including weekly Town Hall
  • Prepare and submit expense reports for Line Managers
  • Create, distribute, and manage access badges for staff, vendors and guests
  • Support site staff as requested

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of receptionist, customer service or administrative experience
  • Excellent customer service
  • High level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Clear and professional written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated initiative and flexibility
  • Ability to accomplish set objectives with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to lift/carry 40+lbs

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

  • Associates’ degree

The range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Washington, if selected for this role, and may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $23/hour to $28/hour and eligibility for a 6% bonus target based on company and individual performance.
