Your new role
As (Associate) Category Manager for CAPEX, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and compliant execution of procurement activities supporting Lundbeck’s global investment projects.
Working closely with the CAPEX Category Manager, you will drive sourcing events, manage contracting processes, and ensure procurement activities are executed in line with category strategies and buying guidelines.

Your future team
The Corporate Procurement team is a global function comprising over 60 ambitious and passionate colleagues located in Copenhagen, Krakow, and Chicago. Together, we secure a professional and efficient source-to-pay process across the full Lundbeck value chain. Leveraging our integrated Category Management processes, we deliver value through a structured approach to strategy & planning, project execution, and stakeholder & supplier management. The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
As (Associate) Category Manager for CAPEX, you will:
- Drive and execute sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ), ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery
- Prepare sourcing materials, coordinate supplier interactions, and lead bid evaluation processes
- Manage and support contract development and execution in collaboration with Legal and internal stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, processes, and buying guidelines across sourcing activities
- Support CAPEX Category Manager in implementing category strategies through effective execution of sourcing and contracting activities
- Maintain sourcing documentation, audit trails, and system updates to ensure transparency and compliance
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on requirements, timelines, and deliverables
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes, templates, and tools

Annual base salary range: 687 000 – 944 900 DKK gross.
At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
