Business Analyst – R&D Finance

 

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to use your financial and analytical skills to support the research and development of new products to treat brain disease? Do you want to be part of a great finance function that enables growth and decision-making through partnering with our stakeholders across the organisation?

 

Then you might be the right Business Analyst to join our R&D Finance team at Lundbeck. We are looking for an ambitious, passionate and performance-driven Business Analyst to take part in financial management and support Lundbeck’s R&D organisation and project teams.

 

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

You will have an important role in our team through

 

  • Partner with R&D Global Project Teams to provide financial reporting and financial planning for R&D project
  • Provide project cost overview and decision impact analysis for decision-making in governance forums
  • Develop and participate in improvement initiatives
  • Participate in Business Development opportunity assessments
  • Support R&D SVPs in their capacity cost management
  • Ad-hoc analyses and reporting to senior management

 

Your future team

R&D Finance supports Lundbeck’s Global R&D organisation including R&D pipeline project and portfolio analyses and consists of 5 team members including you. R&D Finance is part of Group Finance with approximately 45 finance professionals located in Valby and Krakow, and you will also be a part of our Global Finance Community consisting of 260 people.

You will join a team of highly dedicated and skilled specialists and will engage with a broad range of stakeholders within Global R&D and Global Finance.

 

What you bring to the team

You have recently graduated or have some years’ experience from a similar role or management consulting focusing on R&D, project support and financial analysis. You are experienced with financial modelling, creating presentations and/or management reports and have a good understanding of financial statements.

 

We imagine that you also have:

 

  • A Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or accounting  
  • Project management or support skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A solid understanding of and a keen interest in data
  • Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

You are also result oriented with attention to details and enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment managing multiple tasks at the same time.
