As Business Manager in Lundbeck's Chief AI Office, you will work closely with the SVP & Chief AI Officer and the small, high-caliber team at the center of one of the company's most important transformation journeys.

From shaping leadership discussions and preparing executive materials to coordinating enterprise AI priorities and helping strategic ideas move into action, the learning curve and exposure will be exceptional.

This role is designed as a launchpad for a high-potential early-career talent. It is a hands-on business role for someone who combines intellectual curiosity and AI fluency with disciplined execution, strong communication and the confidence to take responsibility from day one.

Your new role

As Business Manager, you will help run the agenda and operating rhythm of the Chief AI Office. You will create structure around strategic and operational priorities, prepare high-quality materials for decisions and communication and ensure that actions, milestones and dependencies are followed through.

You will work directly with the SVP & Chief AI Officer, the team in the Chief AI Office and senior stakeholders across Lundbeck. The role moves naturally between strategic analysis and practical delivery: one day you may be researching a frontier AI development or helping prepare an Executive Leadership Team discussion; the next, you may be coordinating a cross-functional initiative, synthesizing portfolio progress or improving how the team works.

Over time, you will take increasing ownership of defined workstreams and special projects, building a broad understanding of Lundbeck, the pharmaceutical value chain and how AI can create measurable enterprise value and better outcomes for patients.

As Business Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Partner to the SVP & Chief AI Officer and the Chief AI Office team to plan, structure and advance the office's strategic priorities
• Prepare clear, insightful and high-quality analyses, briefings, presentations and communications for executive meetings, governance forums and external engagements
• Coordinate the operating rhythm of the office, including agendas, decision preparation, action follow-up, milestones and team priorities
• Maintain an enterprise overview of AI initiatives and synthesize progress, value potential, dependencies, risks and decisions required
• Conduct research and structured analysis on AI developments, pharmaceutical trends, strategic questions and external partners, translating findings into implications for Lundbeck
• Support cross-functional initiatives and help align stakeholders across business functions such as commercial, R&D, EDE/IT, Finance, People & Culture and external partners
• Use AI tools actively to improve the speed and quality of analysis, content creation, preparation and coordination and help the office model AI-native ways of working
• Plan and support leadership meetings, workshops, offsites and internal or external events, ensuring that discussions lead to clear decisions and next steps
• Help manage day-to-day priorities in close collaboration with the SVP & Chief AI Officer, while exercising judgment about what requires attention and follow-up
• Take ownership of special projects and contribute wherever needed, from practical coordination to strategic problem-solving

Your future team

The Chief AI Office is a newly established, small and high-caliber team with an enterprise mandate. It is not an IT build function or a traditional transformation office. It acts as an enterprise translation and transformation engine, connecting business priorities, workflow re-imagination, emerging AI capabilities and measurable value creation.

The team brings together complementary roles across AI value and transformation, AI frontier and solution quality, and AI organisation transformation. Together, we help Lundbeck make better choices, redesign how work gets done, scale what works and build bionic capabilities where people, AI, data and technology create better decisions and faster execution.

As Business Manager, you will sit at the center of this team. You will have broad exposure across Lundbeck and opportunities to learn directly from senior leaders, experienced transformation professionals, technical AI experts and external partners. You will be expected to contribute your own thinking, challenge constructively and help the team turn ambition into action.

The position is based in Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

• A university degree, preferably at master's level, in data/AI, business, life science, technology, or another relevant field
• You have up to a few years of relevant experience from consulting, AI transformation, strategy, project work, business support, technology, life sciences or a similar environment
• Strong analytical ability and structured problem-solving skills, with the capacity to understand complex topics and turn them into clear conclusions and actions
• Practical AI fluency: you use generative AI tools confidently, understand their opportunities and limitations and are curious about how AI will reshape business and science
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise, well-structured materials for senior stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, without losing sight of the broader purpose and priorities
• A high level of ambition, energy and learning agility, combined with the humility to listen, ask questions and improve quickly
• A proactive ownership mindset: you identify what needs to happen, move work forward and follow through reliably
• The confidence and maturity to work with senior stakeholders, while building positive relationships across functions and organizational levels
• The ability to manage several priorities, remain calm under pressure and maintain high quality when timelines are tight
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, with willingness to contribute to both practical tasks and broader strategic initiatives
• Enthusiasm for Lundbeck and for using AI and transformation to advance our business and patient-focused purpose
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Annual base salary range: 498 000 - 684 200 DKK gross

At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
