We are expanding our portfolio and therefore looking for several experienced International Study Managers.

Do you want to contribute to restore brain health for patients worldwide? And are you passionate about working with clinical studies in an international environment, then we have positions as International Study Manager in Clinical Operations at Lundbeck.


The position is out of Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby. 


Our department is responsible for planning, managing and coordinating international clinical phase I-IV studies as well as conduct of non-interventional studies. In total, we are 35 employees and we perform clinical studies in more than 50 countries worldwide.


Your job

As an International Study Manager, you are overall responsible for leading a global cross-functional study management team consisting of participants from relevant functions within Clinical Research & Development.

We conduct our studies in close collaboration with CROs and as International Study Manager, you are responsible for the management of the CROs, and their deliverables. In collaboration with your Lundbeck colleagues and CRO teams, you are responsible for delivering high quality study execution within timelines and budget.

Approximately 20 travel days per year should be expected.

Your qualifications
Our preferred candidate has the following profile:

  • MSc level within medical, pharmaceutical, or biological sciences
  • some experience in managing clinical studies in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO
  • experience in leading study management teams and managing CRO, including budget oversight
  • good at motivating others, achieving results together with and through others, excellent communication and coordination skills
  • international experience and a multicultural mind-set
  • pro-active, outgoing, goal-oriented, dynamic, responsible and decisive
  • a team player and at the same time able to work independently
  • able to maintain a broad overview and keep enough level of detail
  • fluent in written and oral English

Experience in managing clinical studies within brain diseases is an advantage but not a requirement.
