Data Analytics Architect, Business Analytics & Automation – Corporate IT

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Architect for our Business Analytics & Automation team to enable and support an enterprise-wide ability to bring data to decision-makers when they need it. In Lundbeck there is a clear mission to enhance and augment our decision processes by making more data available for analytics. You will be directly involved in scoping and executing on our Business Analytics Strategy and making sure that we deliver business relevant BI and analytics solutions to enable and support our global business. Your job and key responsibilities

You will report to the head of Business Analytics & Automation and play a pivotal role in ensuring new data analytics initiatives are scoped, designed and implemented according to our standard processes and guidelines.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Translate business needs into tangible BI & analytics solutions
  • Act as a trusted analytics advisor to the business
  • Support the business in developing business cases for analytics solutions
  • You will be able to influence and continuously enhance, develop and advocate the use of BI and analytics across Lundbeck.
  • Create and maintain architecture for the relevant BI and analytics systems 
  • Create and maintain analytics roadmaps in alignment with the IT and business strategy
  • Ensure solution initiatives are developed according to Corporate IT standards and aligned with the relevant BI and analytics roadmaps.
  • Lead proof of concepts and prototyping of analytics solutions
  • Stakeholder management and alignment

This position is based in our Headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.

We expect that you have a background as a BI architect with a proven work experience and you might have worked with cloud based BI architecture as well as AI/ML solutions. You have a natural flair for engaging in dialogue with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and are comfortable with networking both internally and externally. You have a strong business acumen and are able to quickly adapt to changes and find an interest in continuously developing your professional skills and have the ability to self-educate in new technologies or trends. You work independently, with a structured analytical approach and thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.



  • 5+ years of work-related experience with SAP BI Solutions (SAP BW on HANA, Business Objects Webi, Lumira Discovery and AfO front-end tools - experience with SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus).
  • Solid hands on experience working with QlikSense both from a technical and business requirement perspective
  • Experience with data modelling and configuration
  • Familiar with agile development methodology and SCRUM
  • MS PowerBI experience is a plus
  • Experience with AWS/Azure analytics services is a plus
  • Proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.
  • Have minimum a bachelor’s degree
