Your new role
You will contribute to empower our business to leverage and gain value from our state-of-the-art data platform within an ambitious, dynamic & international team.
Collaborating with fellow data engineers, data professionals in our business units, and other stakeholders in cross-functional teams, you will contribute to creating and enabling impactful data products to our global lines of business in R&D, commercial, and manufacturing.

Your future team
As our data engineer, you will join a team committed to bringing cutting-edge data platform technologies and bespoke data deliveries to the Lundbeck business based on best-practice data management principles.
We leverage dbt and Snowflake as the core of our data deliveries, using Python and SQL as our go-to languages for development. The rest of our stack is mainly focused on enabling efficient DataOps and we strive to build things right. Upon joining, we'll provide comprehensive onboarding to get you up to speed on our DevOps, and DataOps tools.
The Data & Platform team is part of our new Data & Analytics department in Global IT, a department currently consisting of approx. 25 data-, software-, and AI engineers. We are on a mission to provide innovative solutions to the whole of Lundbeck focusing on unlocking the value of our data.
What you bring to the team
Whether your greatest strength is in solving technical challenges or igniting enthusiasm in delivering quality products, your colleagues would agree that you are a role model in collaboration and co-creation, and that you are technically adept. You are passionate about leveraging technology to deliver best-in-class data models.
In addition, you have:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Extensive experience ingesting, preparing, modeling and orchestrating data in data engineering or similar role, for example in sales, manufacturing, or research domains.
- Advanced ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, effectively interpreting and translating user requirements into practical data solutions.
- Experience with bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders is beneficial.
- Familiarity with developing BI products and dashboards is advantageous.
