Your new role
Join us in building a cutting-edge data platform alongside an ambitious, international team of innovators. As a Data Engineer, you’ll collaborate with fellow engineers, developers, and AI specialists in cross-functional teams to deliver and democratize data through FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data products for our global business units in R&D, commercial, and manufacturing.

Your future team
As a Data Engineer, you’ll be part of a team committed to delivering top-notch data platforms and tailored solutions using best-practice data management principles.
Our tech stack centers around dbt and Snowflake, with Python and SQL as our go-to development languages. We emphasize DataOps and strive for excellence in building robust solutions. You’ll receive comprehensive onboarding to master our tools and methodologies, including IaC, DevOps, and DataOps.
You’ll join Lundbeck’s Data Architecture, Data & Platform team, part of the Data & Analytics department in Global IT. With approximately 25 talented data, software, and AI engineers, we’re on a mission to unlock the full potential of Lundbeck’s data and deliver innovative solutions across the organization.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
You’re a team player who thrives on solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional data products, both as a developer and as a solution architect. You’re passionate about leveraging technology to create best-in-class data models and are known for your collaborative mindset.
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in data engineering or similar roles, with expertise in preparing and modeling data for domains such as sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, or research.
- Experience with solution architecture.
- Strong track record of collaborating in cross-functional environments to translate user needs into practical data solutions.
- Proficiency in cloud-based data infrastructure management is a bonus.
