Director, Supply Chain Project Management

Your new role

 

In this position, you will lead a team of project managers with business-critical responsibilities for developing business cases, pursue opportunities and execute supply chain projects that align with Lundbeck/PDS’s overall business objectives. Your team plays a critical role in linking key stakeholders and business units to ensure seamless execution and successful new product introductions. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability while developing both your team and leadership in a position with great growth potential.

 

Your future team

 

Supply Chain Project Management (SCPM) is a team of five project managers with diverse competencies, seniority, and experience. SCPM is part of Supply Chain, an area in Product Development and Supply. We are responsible for supply chain operations, from planning to distribution, external manufacturing, and product launches. You will be a part of the Supply Chain Leadership Team reporting to the VP Supply Chain. Our leadership team is a forum for open and honest discussion, characterized by loyalty to each other and our organization with a focus on delivering on our purpose.

 

The position is based in Lundbeck HQ, Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

What you bring to the team

 

To be successful you probably bring some years of experience from a senior position in the pharmaceutical industry and a master’s degree in business, engineering, or natural sciences. Could be either leadership or program/project management with a global outreach. If you don’t have previous formal management experience, you should be able to demonstrate leadership in previous roles. You should have a desire to develop the project management team, deliver results through others and represent Supply Chain with an enterprise mindset in decision forums and leadership discussions across PDS and Lundbeck.

 

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of project managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth aligned with Lundbeck’s leadership behaviors.

Supply Chain Project Management:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with Lundbeck's vision, overseeing the establishment of efficient supply chains for new product introductions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Cultivate strong partnerships with stakeholders across Lundbeck departments and key external partners to enhance project outcomes.

Innovation and Technology Adoption:

  • Promote innovation and leverage digitalization to improve processes and operational efficiency, while staying informed about emerging project management technologies.

Success Measurement:

  • Ensure timely project execution that meets organizational needs, enhancing engagement and elevating project management competencies across the team.
