As an ESG Reporting specialist (maternity cover), you will play a key part in continuing the develop and enhancement of our sustainability reporting processes, documentation, ensuring compliance with evolving ESG regulations like the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

 

Your new role

 

We are looking for a new colleague to cover for a team member on maternity leave who is ready to deliver best-in-class data and expertise while adding value to our current sustainability reporting process. We expect you to contribute to the development of robust reporting processes and internal controls in collaboration with relevant functions.


Key responsibilities:

  • Implement a new ESG data reporting process for CSRD requirements together with Line of Business.

  • Business partner and trusted advisor to Line of Business, share service center and headquarter functions.

  • Facilitate continuous improvements to streamline ESG data collection, management, and sustainability reporting.

  • Review, monitor and provide support to improve process and internal controls.

  • Lead the assurance activities with third-party assurers on ESG-indicators.

  • Ensure detailed quality control of the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of ESG data according to defined accounting standards and other sustainability requirements (i.e. CSRD).

  • Support in the preparation and review of our annual sustainability report with relevant and aggregated ESG data.

  • Support local business unit ESG data owners in improving reporting quality and reporting infrastructure.

  • Support ad-hoc tasks, such as integration of acquired companies, preparation of material for board and audit committee.

  • Be part of our working group responsible to implement CSRD requirements in the Group in collaboration with other functions.

 

Your future team

 

You will be part of our Group ESG Reporting team located in Copenhagen – Denmark. You will also work closely with functions such as Group Finance, Corporate Sustainability, Global Compliance, Corporate Health Safety & Environment and People & Culture.

 

What you bring to the team

 

Experience:

  • An ESG reporting professional with 7+ years of experience, particularly in CSRD reporting requirements and ESG data, ideally with a background in auditing or consulting.

The below are not requirements, but helpful if you:

 

  • Have a relevant educational background in accounting, finance, business administration, ESG or similar at a master’s level.

  • Are motivated by both the reporting and controlling activities but also find the development aspects and best practice sharing elements interesting.

  • Are diligent, self-driven, strive to deliver great results on time, and enjoy working with tasks that vary in nature.

  • Are analytical, with a keen sense for detail and can keep track of data in a structured manner.

  • Are motivated by sustainability and have some knowledge in EU regulatory developments on sustainable finance, incl. the CSRD and EU Taxonomy.

  • Have experience with external assurance for sustainability reporting.

  • Have experience with transforming regulations/standards into effective business processes considering risks and opportunities on this journey.

  • Are self-learning and a technology enthusiast, applying the knowledge to deliver outputs and manage data.
