Your new role
As an Engineering Specialist in Engineering Support, you will play a central role in strengthening technical stability and production performance in Finished Goods Production.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading troubleshooting of complex technical issues to ensure stable and reliable production.
- Acting as a technical bridge between operators, technicians, managers, and engineers.
- Translating technical insights into practical, sustainable solutions anchored in production.
- Improving equipment reliability and supporting ramp-up of production capacity.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Operational Excellence and LEAN methodologies.
- Role modelling value-driven behavior and setting direction through strong technical ownership.
With a strong presence on the shop floor, you will work where value is created — close to the equipment and the people operating it. This is a highly visible role where your technical expertise, structured mindset, and personal integrity will influence how we solve problems and strengthen performance — both today and in the future.
Your future team
You will join Engineering Support, a team of 13 dedicated colleagues within Finished Goods Production in Valby.
Engineering Support safeguards and strengthens the technical foundation of Finished Goods Production by ensuring stable and reliable equipment performance. By creating technical stability, we enable consistent compliance and quality within expectations — ultimately supporting the safe and reliable delivery of medicine to patients.
We are a tight-knit and supportive team with a genuine interest in one another. We believe collaboration, accountability, and openness are key to delivering strong technical performance.
You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager in FGP and collaborate closely across the organization — especially with operators, technicians, and production managers. We believe that value is generated through our equipment and the people closest to the process. Your role will be anchored exactly there.
The position is based on-site in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
You are an experienced engineering professional who thrives in a production environment and feels motivated by being close to operations.
In addition, you bring:
- An academic degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience from a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with continuous improvements and change management.
- Experience applying Operational Excellence and LEAN methodologies.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English, and the ability to speak Danish fluently (spoken Danish is required).
Experience from the pharmaceutical industry and finished goods packaging is an advantage.
