Field Medical Excellence Lead

Your new role 

As our Field Medical Excellence Lead, you will play a key role in strengthening the consistency, quality and measurable impact of Field Medical execution across Lundbeck’s portfolio. 

 

You will lead and support global Field Medical Excellence initiatives, translating Medical Affairs priorities into clear frameworks, processes, metrics & KPIs as well as actionable insights. A central part of your role will be connecting Field Medical activities with high-quality data, Medical CRM capabilities, reporting and digital including AI-enabled tools. 

 

Working across global, regional and local teams, you will help ensure that new approaches are not only developed but successfully adopted and embedded in practice. Through your work, you will contribute to high-quality KEE engagement planning and execution across our portfolio and life cycle while helping demonstrate the strategic value and impact of Field Medical. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing and evolving global Field Medical frameworks, processes and methodologies that support harmonized ways of working while allowing for compliant local adaptation. 

  • Defining, monitoring and interpreting Field Medical KPIs, activity metrics and impact measures, turning data and insights into leadership-ready reporting and recommendations. 

  • Strengthening Medical CRM and related digital capabilities, with a focus on data quality, reporting, workflows, adoption and connectivity across Field Medical processes, measures and systems. 

  • Leading complex cross-market initiatives and supporting the adoption of new processes, tools and data-driven ways of working through practical guidance, playbooks, workshops, training and other scalable enablement approaches. 

 

Your future team 

You will join Regional and Field Medical Excellence, part of Global Medical Affairs Excellence, and report to the Director of Regional and Field Medical Excellence. 

 

Your role will bring you into close collaboration with colleagues across local and global Medical Affairs and MSL teams as well as Global Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Global Customer Experience and colleagues working with data, analytics, Medical CRM and other digital & AI enabled tools. You will also collaborate with Legal, Compliance and other functions involved in Field Medical ways of working. 

 

This broad stakeholder landscape gives you the opportunity to connect perspectives across the organization and help turn global priorities into solutions that work in practice across markets. 

 

The position is based in Valby, Denmark. 

 

What you bring to the team 

You have a strong Field Medical background and understand how Field Medical teams operate within a global pharmaceutical organization. You are comfortable working at the intersection of strategy, execution, data and technology and can translate complex information into clear actions and recommendations, while taking ownership of bringing them to life locally. You are able to lead strategically while also rolling up your sleeves to drive implementation and make things happen. 

 

We are looking for someone who brings: 

  • Experience from Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally including Field Medical, MSL or Field Medical Excellence, combined with experience in Field Medical KPIs, metrics, performance measurement and impact reporting. 

  • Experience working with Medical CRM systems and AI-enabled tools, with a demonstrated ability to leverage technology to improve Field Medical ways of working and translate Medical Affairs priorities into measurable actions, implementation plans and meaningful reporting. 

  • Experience developing and implementing frameworks, processes, or new ways of working across markets and managing complex cross-functional or global workstreams. You bring an enterprise mindset, with the ability to look beyond your own area of responsibility and make decisions based on broader business priorities. 

  • An advanced degree in life sciences, business or another relevant field, strong analytical and project management capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Annual base salary range: 786.000 – 1.081.300 DKK gross.  

 

At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
