Join an engaged, multicultural, and inclusive team at the heart of Lundbeck, bringing actionable insights that enable the business in transforming the lives of millions of patients struggling with brain diseases.

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

Lundbeck’s Procurement team is in the process of implementing a new global procurement strategy that will unlock value across the company, allowing reallocation of capital to strategic investments. As a Finance Business Partner, you will establish a Centre of Excellence in Finance for Procurement-related matters, playing a pivotal role in the new procurement strategy.

You will be working closely with stakeholders across Headquarter functions and in the commercial teams of Lundbeck. You will be exposed to senior and executive management and will be expected to extract and communicate impactful insights to allow efficient and value-adding decision making across the organizational layers.

We believe in diversity, innovation, and creativity. We believe that we perform better when every brain is in the game because advancing brain health and transforming lives requires just that!

Your future team

FP&A & Commercial Finance is part of Lundbeck’s Group Finance department. You will join a team of 7 colleagues that take pride in engaging with the business to deliver insights that facilitate strategic and tactical business decisions. Your manager believes in empowering people, trusting them to be at their best and to deliver on what has been agreed. He seeks team involvement and values personal and professional integrity.

As a team, we are considered trusted business partners to our commercial team as well as our executive management team. Our license to operate lies in our credibility, accountability, and engagement with our stakeholders. We know that quality is important, but getting acceptance from our stakeholders is equally important.

Your responsibilities include, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to Global Procurement, overseeing the finance track of key procurement initiatives.
  • Establish a Centre of Excellence in Finance for all Procurement-related matters.
  • Establish performance management and reporting of initiatives related to procurement, ensuring data quality, transparency, and KPI tracking of procurement initiatives to ease the dialogue across all functions and link the initiatives to the financial planning processes.
  • Enable alignment between our financial steering model and Lundbeck’s strategic approach to cost management, including how to set up the G/L account structure to elevate transparency.
  • Act as Finance’s voice within Procurement, promoting collaboration, inspiring forward-looking strategies, and cultivating enterprise-wide thinking in Procurement’s decisions.

The position is based in Lundbeck’s headquarter, located in beautiful surroundings in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

You possess a well-evolved business partner mindset with significant problem-solving experience. You are structured in your way of working, excelling at stakeholder management. You are clear in your communication with your stakeholders, allowing you to translate complex information into simple, relevant, and actionable language.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field (e.g., Cand.Merc., Cand.Polit).
  • +5 years of relevant experience, e.g., working between Procurement and Finance.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience working with multi-dimensional data and explorative analytics.
  • Engaging personality with a positive and curious attitude.
  • Extensive experience managing complex projects within a diverse stakeholder network.
