Your new role
As part of the Group Financial Compliance Team, you will work as a trusted advisor and business partner having a pivotal role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the organization’s financial risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.
In the role you will assess financial and operational processes globally to identity risks and propose mitigating actions and improvements.
You will become part of Lundbeck’s Group Financial Compliance, where the tasks and responsibilities include:

Taking part in the Internal Financial Compliance reviews, including optimizing, developing, planning, and executing audits as agreed with the Audit Committee.

Ensuring that the Authorization & Signing Policy reflects updated operational and financial risks and processes, as well as advising and supporting Line of Business in application of the Authorization & Signing Policy.

Supporting the Enterprise Risk Management process in capturing, evaluating, and reporting Lundbeck’s overall Enterprise Risk Management risks.

Various financial compliance controlling tasks such as controlling of Related Party Transaction, advisory and monitoring of Audit fee, etc.

Supporting on optimization on Lundbeck’s Internal Control Framework.

Supporting the External Auditor process in relation to risk and compliance.

Assisting the team in managing the Audit Committee Reporting.

Supporting the team in Krakow on their daily tasks and developing their audit skills.

Acting as a business partner to the Global Finance organization and other stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships with main stakeholders.
You will get a broad insight into Lundbeck’s financial processes globally.
The role includes 5-8 weeks of travel per year.
Your future team
You will join the Financial Compliance Team within Group Finance dedicated to safeguarding Lundbeck’s financial assets against intentional and non-intentional errors and fraud. The department is overall responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the organization’s financial risk management, financial compliance, internal controls, and governance processes.
You will join an international organization and team and work closely with finance specialist across Lundbeck’s global reach.
The position is based in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
Our candidate has the following processional and personal qualifications:

Background as an internal or external auditor with at least 4 years of professional experience in auditing, risk controlling and/or accounting from an international audit firm or listed company.

Experience in risk identification, mitigation, and internal controls.

A master’s degree in Auditing, Accounting and Finance or similar.
As a person you are highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with absolute ethical integrity. You thrive in an environment that is dynamic, and continuously look for innovative and proactive solutions in your way of working. You take ownership of your tasks. You work well collaboratively, sharing knowledge with effective communication, analytical skills, and capacity to solve problems.
It is a benefit if you have experience with SAP, business intelligence solutions and data analytics.
