Description

We are looking for a new colleague to join the Global Business Analytics team, focusing on short and long-term forecasting of our in-line products and on strategic regional team support.

 

The Global Business Analytics team cosists of 3 people as part of Global Market Analysis within the Global Strategic Marketing team. We play a key role in setting standards for global forecasting and business analysis.  We use data and analytics to deepen our understanding of markets and products to help drive organizational strategies and hence act as a trusted partner to the global/regional operations. The team works across the value chain, with key stakeholders in commercial management, regional and affiliate teams, finance, market access and pricing, as well as colleagues from Global Strategic Marketing.

 

The position is based in Valby, Denmark.

 

Your job and key responsibilities

  • Be a central player in the annual global budget and long term planning processes in collaboration with commercial management and key affiliates in order to guide executive management as well as the commercial organization on future strategies
  • Analysis of monthly product performance of our key products including market development, price development, product performance and competitor impact. Presentation of findings to senior regional and commercial management
  • Drive ad hoc projects to understand impact of key market events on Lundbecks brands or strategies
  • Collaborate with global brand teams on key market insights and potential implications to Lundbecks focus brands

 

Limited travel activites (5-15 days a year) can be expected.

Qualifications

You posess strong analytical skills and have a passion for data and driving commercial decisions.  You are motivated by ensuring analytics and fact based decisions are at the core of the commercial strategy. You enjoy working in cross functional settings with many stakeholders and are excited about using your data skills to influence and inform business decisions.

 

Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications:

 

  • Masters degree in a relavent field (eg. science, economics, business)
  • 3-5 years experience from the pharmaceutical industry or another technology driven industry in an analyst role.
  • Extensive experience with forecasting, working with analytical tools and methodologies and are able to draw strategic conclusions based on your analysis.
  • Good communication skills as you will interact with and present to Senior management and key affiliates. In the same vein you are good at stakeholder management
  • Other relevant pharma experience a plus (e.g. market access, brand management, business development, commercial operations) as well as international experience
