Global HR Process Specialist
Copenhagen, Danish Capital Region, DK
Global HR Process Specialist
Do you have a strong track record of shaping and governing HR processes in complex, global organizations? Are you motivated by taking ownership, setting direction, and driving global standards that enable efficient operations and an excellent employee experience? Then you could be our next Global HR Process Specialist, playing a key role in defining, leading, and continuously improving Lundbeck’s global HR processes to ensure alignment, simplicity, and sustainable impact across the organization.
Your new role
You will play a central role in shaping, driving, and governing Lundbeck’s global HR processes to ensure seamless operations and an outstanding employee experience. As Global HR Process Specialist, you will lead process initiatives, set direction for global standards, and drive cross-functional alignment across Lundbeck.
You will take end-to-end ownership of mapping, evaluating, and designing HR processes, using structured user experience (UX) methodologies to ensure solutions are intuitive, efficient, and create real value for employees and managers. You will proactively identify opportunities for standardization and automation and ensure that improvements are translated into clear designs and successfully implemented across the organization.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues based in Denmark, our global People & Culture community, and our shared services center in Poland — often acting as the primary driver, ensuring coordination, clarity, and progress.
Some of your key tasks will include:
- Driving the exploration and assessment of new opportunities in ServiceNow and their integration with SuccessFactors, translating business needs into solution design.
- Strengthen HR operations by setting direction for process optimization initiatives and partnering closely with the shared services center.
- Leading initiatives that enhance the employee journey and elevate the global employee experience, applying structured UX research and design approaches.
- In close partnership with our Digital Team, leading improvements of processes in SuccessFactors ensuring alignment between process design and system capabilities.
- Acting as process owner for selected global HR operational processes delivered by the shared services center, with accountability for stable day-to-day operations, performance management, and continuous improvement through close collaboration with the shared services center.
Your future team
You will become part of our Payroll & Operations team in the People & Culture organization and join more than 50 P&C colleagues at our headquarters in Copenhagen. In P&C, we partner with the business to create meaningful impact. Our size allows us to work in specialist teams without ending up in silos, as we prioritize working cross-functionally.
We approach our work with an agile mindset and prioritize both regular knowledge sharing and social activities to build a positive and informal culture. For example, you can look forward to our regular Friday breakfast and our brain break corner, where we catch up with one another over a jigsaw puzzle. We are very enthusiastic about what we do, and we focus on individual well-being along the way.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and has a global scope.
What you bring to the team
You are an experienced process leader who thrives in a role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on ownership. You bring a structured approach to process management and a strong ability to translate complex operational challenges into clear, simple, and user-friendly solutions. You are comfortable navigating across global stakeholders and acting as the connective tissue between strategy, process, and execution.
You bring:
- Extensive experience (typically 8–10+ years) within HR operations, process optimization, HR transformation, or relevant consulting roles—ideally in a global organization.
- Demonstrated experience leading global process improvements, including governance design, process controls, and risk mitigation.
- Practical experience working with user experience methods (e.g., journey mapping, voice of the user, prototyping) and applying them systematically to design better processes.
- Strong understanding of HR technologies—preferably ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, and related workflow or automation tools.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to set direction, influence stakeholders, and facilitate alignment across diverse teams and cultures.
- A proactive, self-driven mindset and the ability to operate with autonomy while ensuring transparency and stakeholder engagement.
You thrive in a setting where curiosity, continuous improvement, and teamwork are essential—and where you can make a significant impact by elevating how we design and deliver global HR processes.
