IT License Management in Lundbeck

IT License Management is a part of Corporate IT which is a dynamic organization with some 75 colleagues around the world. We deliver digital solutions and secure, efficient operations to more than 5500 colleagues across all business areas and geographies. We base our results on collaboration, commitment, and curiosity. The graduate position is based in the smaller department, IT License Management, where we are responsible for global software agreements securing compliance, terms and conditions, advisory on use, etc.

 

The role is based at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.

 

Your job and the journey

By joining the IT License Management team, you will become part of a world of legal terms and conditions, software compliance and the related processes. Through your work with some of the largest software vendors in the world, you will gain insights into the commercial sides of agreements while seeking to continuously optimizing both cost, terms and compliance. Working with global software agreements and License Management is a complex and exciting world where your core skills within commercial law, economics and processes will come into play. Also, your open personality and ability to work together with all kind of stakeholders will be key. 

 

Throughout your program, you will be introduced thoroughly to the tools, agreements and processes you are expected to master. You will gain extensive knowledge when taking on your own agreement portfolio, managing hands-on activities, and leading larger compliance processes in close collaboration with colleagues from Corporate IT. As the program evolves and your insights increase, you will play a key role in taking the entire IT License Management area to the next level. 

 

Your graduate journey is a co-creation between you and your manager, taking into consideration your interests, competencies and personal ambitions. Your first rotation will be in your home area, IT License Management, where after your will rotate to Corporate Procurement learning about the procurement process and toolbox. Following these rotations, we will evaluate your development needs and wishes and design an exciting third rotation based on these and business needs. Other departments and/or other global Lundbeck locations could come into play but is not a requirement.

 

During the program you will participate in a wide range of development activities on your own as well as with other graduates - everything designed to guide you through the program, making sure you are on track and able to unfold your potential.

 

Qualifications

Our preferred graduate has the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field with a maximum of one year post-academic work experience
  • You have strong commercial skills and a legal background
  • You work structured and have flair for setting up new processes
  • You have ambitions and push yourself to achieve results while recognizing the importance of teamwork
  • You are willing to take lead and it’s within your DNA to take responsibility
  • You have excellent English language skills
  • You are eager to learn, contribute and apply knowledge
  • You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • You actively seek new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels
  • You adapt your approach and demeanour in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
