New Product Planning (NPP), Global Strategic Marketing at Lundbeck

The team is focused on providing strategic and commercial guidance to the pipeline covering early-, mid- and advanced stage assets. Our responsibility includes assessing external opportunities that could be added to strengthen the pipeline. Cross-functional collaboration is part of our daily activities and includes a wide range of functions in R&D (i.e. clinical development, regulatory affairs, research and medical affairs), functions within the Commercial organisation (i.e. pricing & market access, market analysis and key affiliates) and with Corporate business development & strategy.

 

The NPP team consists of 4 international members with a strong background within marketing, communication, research, medical affairs and market access. We have a global mindset and enjoy cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Together we are an ambitious, dedicated and energetic team which helps and supports each other. The position is located at Lundbeck HQ in Valby, Denmark

 

Your job and the journey

In the NPP team you will help map and assess various indication opportunities for our pipeline to propose the best solutions from a commercial and R&D perspective. You will work with future potential scenarios, develop target product profiles (TPPs) and apply various marketing tools (i.e. SWOT and value proposition) You will support development of communication strategies and evaluate various forecasts with the ambition to help senior management make important decisions for our pipeline. You will assess external opportunities, typically this includes mapping disease and treatment overviews, current and future competitors, develop scenarios and TPPs and collaborate to ensure input from key affiliates.

 

The graduate program will also include rotations which can be tailored pending individual interest but is likely to include pricing and market access, market analysis and/or medical affairs. The intention is to have a global rotation in one of our key affiliates with NPP function.

The role includes travel opportunities of approximately 30 days/year to attend congresses, meetings with key affiliates, advisory boards and/or market research.

 

During the program you will participate in a wide range of development activities on your own as well as with other graduates - everything designed to guide you through the program, making sure you are on track and able to unfold your potential.

 

Qualifications

Our preferred graduate has the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree preferably in science or a combination of science and business
  • Above average academic achievements and excellent English language skills
  • You have a strategic mindset and Cec enjoy working with possibilities and opportunities that at time may be abstract
  • You are curious and like to interact and work together with others
  • You have ambitions and push yourself to achieve results
  • You are eager to learn, contribute and apply knowledge
  • You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • You actively seek new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels
  • You adapt your approach and demeanour in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
