People & Communication in Lundbeck

People & Communication is a dynamic and global organization consisting of two departments – Corporate HR and Corporate Communication & Public Affairs. We support more than 5,500 employees and managers with HR and Communication related tasks across various business areas and geographies.  


In Corporate HR we have an aspiration to support Lundbeck in optimizing its global potential. We do that by developing people, developing the organization, attracting new employees and with operational excellence.


Our Corporate Communication & Public Affairs department drives and facilitates communication to active Lundbeck brand, engage employees and ensure their understanding of strategic priorities. Hereby we create the foundation for stakeholder preference, the company’s license to operate and a high performing organization achieving its strategic objectives.


This position is based at our headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.


Your job and the journey

As a graduate in People & Communication your home area will be in Talent Attraction where you will be involved and introduced to different projects and tasks that goes across both HR and Communication. You will be working closely with the Diversity & Inclusion and Employer Branding teams and be part of driving exciting future initiatives.


Additional assignments will depend on business needs and candidate profile, however, it could include: Supporting the data agenda in People & Communication, driving new HR & Communication initiatives, running SoMe activities, ensuring KPI reporting.


Some of these activities will be led by you, whereas for other activities, you will be included as a team member.


As part of the 2-year journey you will get the opportunity to go on a short-term assignment (2-3 months) to one of our key affiliates abroad.


Overall, you will get a unique opportunity to work with people at all levels of the organization and build a solid network of world-class colleagues.


During the program you will participate in a wide range of development activities on your own as well as with other graduates - everything designed to guide you through the programme, making sure you are on track and able to unfold your potential.


Our preferred graduate has the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field like cand.merc (HRM), Psychology, Communication etc.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are able to apply data in e.g. scenario analysis 
  • Above average academic achievements and excellent English language skills
  • You have ambitions and push yourself to achieve results
  • You are eager to learn, contribute and apply knowledge
  • You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • You actively seek new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels
  • You adapt your behaviour and approach in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
