We are looking for an ambitious and performance-driven HR Director with a strong business acumen to support the ongoig development of our Corporate Functions divison in Lundbeck, consisting of Group Finance, Corporate IT, Corporate Legal, Group Sourcing, Invester Relations and our Shared Services center placed in Krakow, Poland.

Embedded in the business, you will have a influential role where you partner with our business leaders in setting and implementing our strategy in Corporate Functions.


You will be part of the HR Partner team that covers the entire value chain and is part of  Corporate HR with approx. 30+ HR professionals. Our work environment is characterized by knowledge sharing, collaboration and trust.

The position is based at our headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.


Your job and key responsibilities

As HR Director for Corporate Functions, you will be a member of the Coprorate Functions Management team and act as a key sparring partner for the CFO as well as leaders in Corporate Functions. You will be pivotal in ensuring strategic objectives are archieved and to create the best best foundation for taking business-critical decisions.


Examples of your key responsibilities are:

  • Drive strategic long-term organizational capabilities and set-up facilitation of changes
  • Identify and facilitate both individual and organizational competencies
  • Drive the annual HR wheel in Corporate Functions management groups (ESS, Performance Management, Salary Review, Organizational Review etc.)
  • Act as advisor and support leaders in personel cases and other ad hoc requests

Our preferred candidate is a HR  professional, who has solid experience from working as a business partner to executive management in an international company.


Our preferred candidate has the following profile:


  • 5+ years’ hands on experience in a HR Partner role in a international company.
  • Knowledge of and experience with different HR disciplines on a strategic and tactical level
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a high degree of business acumen
  • Able to build relationships of trust through demonstrated knowledge of both HR and our business
  • Experienced working at all levels of the organisation, and often reach buy-in for ideas and initiatives
  • Service-minded, and at the same time, manage to challenge the organisation with positive results
  • Act with integrity and have a high personal drive
  • Passionate and driven by an ambition to create value for the business
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
