Join Business IT Delivery and help translate research needs into robust, compliant laboratory and IT solutions. We are looking for an IT Solution Architect with a primary focus on laboratory equipment and software within Research.
Your new role
As an IT Solution Architect, you will join a team of IT professionals delivering business value through the implementation R&D IT solutions. The team consists of experienced Solution Architects and IT Project Managers who together provide an end-to-end perspective on R&D IT delivery.
You will play a key role in onboarding laboratory equipment and implementing software in Lundbeck’s R&D organisation, while contributing to the maintenance and evolution of the laboratory IT architecture. The role also includes coordinating and prioritising equipment onboarding initiatives in close collaboration with stakeholders in Research and Global IT.
Your future team
As a Solution Architect in R&D IT Solutions, you will be part of Business IT Delivery within Global IT. Business IT Delivery is Lundbeck’s Pharma IT powerhouse, bringing together Solution Architects and Project Managers who partner closely with R&D, Production, and Supporting Functions. Global IT is a diverse and dynamic organisation of approximately 130 colleagues worldwide, delivering IT and digital solutions to more than 5,300 colleagues across business areas and geographies. You will work with laboratory equipment and implementation projects, contributing to innovative global initiatives within R&D. You will help ensure architectural alignment between business needs, IT standards, and long-term strategy for laboratory IT solutions. In close collaboration with colleagues in Global IT, R&D, and external partners, you will participate in technology and vendor selection activities, including RfI and RfP processes, solution and supplier assessments, and progress solutions through validation (GxP), commissioning, and handover to operations.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
- Experience with onboarding laboratory equipment and associated software
- A structured approach to coordinating tasks, initiatives, or smaller projects
- Experience with IT solutions supporting R&D, preferably in regulated (GxP) environments
- Ability to contribute to architecture and solution design in a multi-vendor landscape
- A positive, proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to understand evolving business needs and help shape appropriate solutions.
You should be acknowledged for your strong people’s skills, technical skills and understanding of business processes and challenges. You can create and maintain effective partnerships and can identify ways to build and strengthen these relationships. You are a skilled and experienced Solution Architect that remains focused on achieving key goals, even in the face of obstacles and setbacks.
