Are you studying supply chain management, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field? Would you like to gain hands-on experience with inventory management and digitalization in a global pharmaceutical company? Then you might be our new intern in Supply Planning DK.

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

As an intern in Supply Planning DK, you will work closely with our Inventory Manager and the wider planning team to improve the way we manage inventory and support production.

You will be responsible for selected recurring activities within inventory management and supply chain planning, including reporting, data analysis, and data quality. You will also contribute to improving our processes, IT systems, and digital tools.

LEAN is an established part of how we work in Supply Planning DK. As an intern, you will be encouraged to identify opportunities for improvement, work with colleagues across the organisation, and contribute to making our processes more efficient and effective.

The internship lasts six months and starts in January or February 2027.

Your future team

Supply Planning DK consists of 13 employees and is located at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby, Denmark. The team is part of Pharmaceutical Production & Supply Chain, a business unit with approximately 500 employees in Denmark and France.

Together, we plan and coordinate the production of the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time—helping to ensure that Lundbeck’s medicines are available to patients worldwide.

You will also be part of a team where everyone is enthusiastic about supporting each other, continuously improving processes, and taking the time to have fun together.

What you bring to the team

• You are a bachelor- or master-student within supply chain or engineering
• You feel confident using and developing skills in IT-systems (E.g., S4HANA, Kinaxis Maestro, Excel, PowerBI, Snowflake)
• You are analytical, detail oriented and pragmatic
• You are open minded, take initiative and are not afraid to challenge status quo
• English (written & spoken) is a requirement.
