Your new role
- Provide leadership to the GPS Operations DK team, supporting the development of the team members as well as driving the team to meet needs of the business
- Collaborate with other Global Patient Safety teams and R&D departments to improve execution of clinical trial activities especially related to the intake, handling, and reporting of clinical adverse events
- Foster a global mindset and collaborate across all 3 GPS Operations sites
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and joint commitment to action
- Actively guide process improvements and initiatives within the team’s area of responsibility
Your future team
The position is in our Global Patient Safety Operations department located at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby. The GPS Operations DK team is primarily focused on supporting Lundbeck’s development portfolio via clinical trial activities, including data entry into Lundbeck’s safety database and reporting, narrative writing, clinical coding, reconciliation and collaboration with safety teams, as well as participating in audits and inspections. In addition, the team is actively involved in process optimizations, cross-functional initiatives and mentoring.
The Global Patient Safety organization is made up of more than 90 employees focused on the safety of patients treated with Lundbeck products. The GPS Operations DK team includes 10 colleagues, and is part of a global GPS Operations team of more than 30 with sites in Denmark, Singapore, and the United States. This position will be a member of the GPS Operations management team, and actively collaborate on initiatives, fostering alignment and driving progress across key objectives. The role will involve participation in regular meetings to ensure seamless communication and coordination, while also contributing to the development and enhancement of global capabilities to support organizational growth and operational excellence. Additionally, this role will be a participant in the GPS People Managers Forum and local GPS managers meetings/discussions.

The position is based in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, particularly with adverse event handling
- Minimum 3 years of experience with informal coaching and mentoring of peers, and coordination of operational deliverables (formal managerial experience desirable, but not a requirement)
- Strong preference for prior experience with clinical trial activities, including serious adverse event handling, reconciliation, and collaboration/experience with various process stakeholders like Clinical Operations, Data Management, GPS Medical Safety, and others
- Background in health or natural sciences is preferred
- Role model consistent and reliable behavior, adhering to and acting as ambassador of Lundbeck’s culture
- Excellent communication abilities; should include proficiency in both written and spoken English
