Your new role
This role is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of Lundbeck’s global commercial strategy by delivering high-quality analysis and insights. The Manager / Senior Manager will focus on forecasting, budget planning, stakeholder engagement, and pipeline asset evaluation to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The position plays a key role in bridging commercial strategy, marketing, and operational teams to ensure alignment with Lundbeck’s corporate goals.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute with analysis around portfolio management in the commercial organization based on market dynamics, competitor analysis, short- and long-term forecasting, and life cycle management evaluations.
- Support the organization with analysis of performance of Lundbeck’s key brands, bridging understanding of business potential and strategic positioning between marketing and commercial operational teams.
- Facilitate structured reviews of business case opportunities through strategic evaluations and recommendations, including revenue and commercial cost forecasting.
- Drive budget planning processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Engage stakeholders across the value chain to provide clarity and scenario options for decision-making, ensuring quality decisions regarding the current portfolio and pipeline assets.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support pipeline asset evaluations, ensuring a long-term strategic outlook for Lundbeck.
Your future team
The Forecasting and Strategic Analytics team consists of 4 people and is a key part of Strategic Insights & Analytics within Global Commercial and Corporate Strategy. We aim to provide perspective and confidence in strategic business decisions on commercial strategies across the portfolio with fact-based analysis and insights. The team works across the value chain, with key stakeholders in marketing, business development, commercial operations as well as colleagues from R&D.
This is a global role based in Valby, Denmark, supporting stakeholders across multiple regions.
What you bring to the team
- Level of Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, natural sciences, or economics).
- Required Experience:
- Manager: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in market analysis, finance, or forecasting.
- Senior Manager: Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in market analysis, finance, forecasting, or related fields.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data points and provide clarity through scenario analysis.
- Proficiency in forecasting, budget planning, and strategic evaluations.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills to facilitate cross-functional decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in portfolio management, life cycle evaluations, and commercial strategy development.
