People Analytics & Insights Partner

Do you want to help Lundbeck turn people data into sharper insights, better decisions and stronger business outcomes? As we scale people analytics at Lundbeck, your ability to combine analytical thinking, business understanding and compelling data storytelling could be exactly what we need. The role is offered as a 12-month temporary position while one of our colleagues is on extended travel leave, with the possibility to explore permanent employment if there is a mutual fit and future business need.

Your new role

In People Analytics & Intelligence, you will be a trusted analytics partner to colleagues in People, Culture & Sustainability, business areas and senior leadership teams across Lundbeck. You will work with stakeholders across geographies and functions, communicating insights and recommendations in a way that is clear, relevant and actionable for different audiences. You will lead business-facing people analytics projects through deep-dive analyses and insight generation, helping stakeholders translate complex people and business questions into clear analytical approaches, relevant metrics and actionable insights.

A key part of your role will be to move People Analytics & Intelligence beyond reporting and into stronger advisory, co-creation and decision support. This means that you will not only produce analysis, but also help make sense of the figures, identify meaningful patterns, communicate implications and shape recommendations that can support decisions. You will independently drive bespoke analytics projects from problem framing and metric definition to analytical design, interpretation and presentation of findings. You will also develop insight narratives, support executive discussions and help stakeholders understand what the data means for their business priorities.

You will also play an important role in our strategic analytics agenda, including exploratory analytical tasks linked to the employee listening cycle, ESG reporting and other leadership or People, Culture & Sustainability priorities. As we continue to build our single source of truth setup, you will advise stakeholders on meaningful metrics, identify gaps in available data or reporting, and collaborate with data products and engineering colleagues to translate analytical needs into future data product requirements.

Finally, you will contribute to our AI and innovation agenda by identifying practical opportunities where analytics, automation, data storytelling or AI-supported approaches can improve decision-making and stakeholder experience.

Your future team

People Analytics & Intelligence is Lundbeck’s dedicated center of expertise for enabling people data-driven and AI-supported decisions across Lundbeck. You will join a small, collaborative team working across three core capability areas: data foundation, data products, and analytics insights. We work with stakeholders across People, Culture & Sustainability as well as other business areas and supporting functions, depending on the initiative. Our team is currently building a next-generation people analytics infrastructure, with SAP DataSphere and Power BI as key platforms, integrated and automated data flows, and the flexibility to shape data models around business needs. You will have the opportunity to work in a modern analytics environment while helping us expand our ability to deliver strategic insights, bespoke analytics projects and data stories across Lundbeck.

The team’s culture is collaborative, pragmatic and delivery-focused. We work with short feedback loops and high ownership – co-creating solutions with our stakeholders while keeping governance, privacy and responsible use of people data front-of-mind.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Fully remote applications will not be considered.

What you bring to the team

You bring proven experience from people analytics, HR analytics, business analytics, consulting, organizational insights or a related field. You are at your best when working with stakeholders to clarify business questions, structure analyses and turn data into meaningful recommendations.

We imagine that you have:

  • Strong experience with analytics, insight generation and storytelling with data, including the ability to move from figures to interpretation, implications and recommendations.

  • Experience partnering with HRBPs, HR specialists, business leaders or senior stakeholders, with the ability to understand both business priorities and people/HR processes.

  • Ability to independently drive bespoke analytics projects, including problem framing, metric definition, hypothesis development, analytical design, interpretation and presentation of findings.

  • Good understanding of people-related topics such as workforce, talent, leadership, engagement, recruitment, performance, succession, compensation, or organizational effectiveness.

You do not need to be a data scientist, but you should be comfortable working with data models, dashboards, definitions and analytical methods.

As a person, you are proactive, self-driven and motivated by delivering high-quality, actionable insights. You take ownership, communicate clearly and are curious and pragmatic by nature. You are comfortable with complexity, thrive in multi-stakeholder environments and enjoy turning ambiguous business questions into focused analysis and compelling data stories.
