Then we may have the right job for you as we are currently looking for an experienced, talented and motivated Clinical System Analyst for our Digital Solutions department.

The Digital Solutions department consists of 6 highly skilled and engaged employees. The department is part of the Biometrics Sciences Division. Our key responsibilities are to manage data flows and to implement clinical applications as well as data visualizations utilized in all stages of our clinical development, and by many different colleagues across Experimental Medicine and Clinical Development e.g. Clinical Trial Management and Clinical Data Management.

The system landscape includes industry standard systems, such as Medidata Rave®, SAS®, EntimICE® and Spotfire® and is complemented with systems developed specifically tailored to Lundbeck’s requirements. We also work with a combination of on-premise and cloud-based systems.

The position is placed at Lundbeck’s headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Highlights from responsibilities

You will join a team where you will utilize all your experience and skills to maintain and improve our Clinical Data Repository and Controlled Programming Environment EntimICE, which is used for all Lundbeck studies from Phase I to IV and Observational Studies.

As part of your responsibilities, you will also build and maintain interfaces with other systems containing clinical and operational trial data (EDC, CTMS, eTMF, etc.) to streamline the data flows that support the value chain.


Example on professional and/or interpersonal competencies

Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications:


  • You have a master’s degree in an IT or life Science related field
  • Work experience with clinical applications, in an international medical device or pharmaceutical company is preferable
  • You have programming experience with SAS or other programming languages such as R, Python, Groovy, JavaScript
  • You have experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL
  • You have experience in using analytics tools such Spotfire or Qlik Sense
  • You have experience working with Cloud Service Providers such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • You have experience with 21 CFR Part 11 and Computer Systems Validation
  • You have flair for project management with strong stakeholder focus
  • You have experience with Agile software development and working in a collaborative Agile product team
  • You are analytical, goal-oriented, innovative and proactive
  • You have strong interpersonal and team skills and good communication and coordinating skills
  • You are fluent in written and oral English
