Your future team
Solid Bulk Production (SBP) is part of Pharmaceutical Production, responsible for the commercial production of solid formulations for Lundbeck's global market and for supporting internal – and external manufacturing.
The department consists of two production teams and several support functions.
One of our Production Managers are retiring, and we are seeking his replacement. In this role, you will lead a granulation team with 14 operators and 2 technicians.
You will report to the Senior Director, Solid Bulk Production.

This role places high demands on independence, ownership and flexibility. Furthermore, it offers a broad stakeholder landscape and close collaboration within Pharmaceutical Production, Quality, Development and Supply Chain.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead and motivate day-to-day operations in the granulation team to deliver strong performance and engagement
- Drive continuous improvements to optimize productivity and cost
- Maintain a high level of compliance within quality and health & safety
- Staffing high performing team, including recruitment and development activities
- Contribute actively to the strategy – and development activities for Solid Bulk Production
- Secure strong collaboration within the team as well as with other stakeholders
What you bring to the team
Our preferred candidate brings strong leadership capabilities combined with solid technical – and operational insight within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
You possess the following qualifications:
- A relevant academic background in Life Science or Engineering
- Strong process understanding within pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably within solid dosage forms
- Several years of proven people management experience
- Visible and engaging leadership style with the ability to create trust, accountability and team collaboration
- Practical experience in working with continuous improvement as well as structured problem solving of technical challenges
- Technical mindset and ability to navigate process related challenges in a GMP environment
- Experience with SAP and/or PAS-X will be considered an advantage
- You are fluent in both Danish and English

Annual Base Salary Range: 687 000 - 944 900 DKK gross
At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
