Are you eager to bring into play your experience to translate business priorities incl. commercial priorities (e.g. product range management, geographical footprint, business development initiatives etc) into impact assessments for Global Patient Safety and the subsequent implementing of our transformations.

Then you may be our new Specialist in Projects & Partnering within Lundbeck Global Patient Safety (GPS). 

 

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

This is a great opportunity to have a job involving a variety of responsibilities and tasks that are everchanging in line with current and future business needs in GPS. You will become a focal point in GPS and for stakeholders across the Lundbeck value chain and externally and be responsible for:

 

  • Ongoing preparation and coordination of GPS inputs to impact assessments (business cases) for product launches/Product Range Management in markets globally; business development opportunities, geographical footprint etc. 

 

  • Initiatives to operationalize adjusted patient safety systems and processes in line with strategic priorities.

 

  • Drive and / or support various processes improvement initiatives.

 

  • Management and oversight of strategic partners/vendors as needed.

 

  • Support the organization and work in close collaboration with your colleagues that are handling vendor contracts, pharmacovigilance agreements with business partners and local affiliate support teams.

Projects & Partnering is part of the GPS organisation within Lundbeck Research & Development (R&D). GPS is responsible for the safety (pharmacovigilance) of patients using our medicinal products globally. We consist of approximately 100 dedicated colleagues working together in one global team across Denmark, Singapore, and the US.

 

The Projects & Partnering department is located in Valby, Denmark, and supports all our GPS sites. This position is based in Valby, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

While your specific educational background is not decisive, we do expect you to have a formal higher education at Master level or equivalent.

 

A minimum of 2-3 years professional experience from pharma is needed. Understanding and experience with the operations of patient safety / pharmacovigilance systems or similar regulated areas is highly desired (e.g. from clinical operations, regulatory affairs, CRO, Biotech).

 

The ideal candidate also has experience with business change initiatives and vendor / partner management and has the ability to influence business changes and translate them into impacts for patients as well as the business. 

 

Adaptability where you are flexible and embrace change comes natural to you. You are accountable and take ownership for your own development and tasks assigned to you. Being proactive, responsible and follow-through on tasks is a “must-have” competence. Personal integrity, curiosity, good communication and stakeholder management skills are needed.

 

Other key competencies is ability to create simplicity in processes; use risk-based approach; productivity understanding and applying a “Enterprise mindset” with the ability to create results that go beyond the immediate function and process.
