Then this is a great chance to join a team of professionals in IT Business Applications, who is involved in global innovative projects, providing an end-to-end architectural perspective and ensuring a strategic fit between solutions and business requirements.

You will be a part of Corporate IT supporting the R&D unit and you will primarily focus on GxP IT projects across R&D. You will have 10 dedicated and professional Solution Architect colleagues covering all Lundbeck’s corporate applications and will work closely with IT specialists from other Corporate IT departments, colleagues from different business units, implementation partners and with our outsourcing partners. The position is based in our HQ in Valby in the Copenhagen area, Denmark.


Your job and key responsibilities


Your responsibility will be linked to a GxP regulated environment containing complex GxP critical IT systems, where you will challenge and transform business needs and aspirations into requirements and follow projects until the solutions are successfully implemented.

Your role will include taking the lead of architecture and design as well as supporting the Business working with the complexity of merging process optimization with IT Projects and working with internal and external contributors.

You will also play an important role in ensuring that solutions comply with our Corporate IT strategy which, among other things, focuses on global solutions (on-premise and Cloud), cyber security and enterprise data management.     


Main activities:

  • Dialogue and consultancy with the business owners and other relevant stakeholders and become a trusted advisor
  • Interact and proactively inspire and participate in new digital initiatives and support our colleagues in the business areas in driving their digital agenda
  • Participate in technology and vendor selection, requirement specification, RfI, RfP process, supplier and solution assessment
  • Support business in their validation process (Computerized system validation and data integrity processes) when relevant

Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry in a multi-vendor environment
  • Relevant education (pharmacology, laboratory, engineering, IT)
  • Experience with business consultancy and converting business requirement specifications into architecture, preferably global life cycle R&D solutions with a strong customer focus
  • Experience within IT system compliance (GxP) and knowledge of IT Security and Data integrity
  • The ability to work well independently in a proactive performance-oriented way, while at the same time contribute and is committed to the team
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
