Reporting Excellence and Analytics Senior Manager

As Reporting Excellence and Analytics Senior Manager, you will collaborate across Group Financial Reporting, ESG and Compliance and Group Finance teams to enhance reporting processes and data quality. This is a key role within Group Financial Reporting, ESG and Compliance’s transformation—combining technical expertise, strategic insight, and a passion for finance, ESG reporting and compliance.
Your new role
The Reporting Excellence and Analytics Senior Manager plays a crucial role in advancing best-in-class reporting practices by enhancing data quality, transparency, availability, and analytical value across financial and ESG reporting. Through deep collaboration with specialists and cross-functional teams, the role strengthens governance, supports transformation roadmaps, and drives consistent execution of improvement initiatives. This position also leads and contributes to strategic, data-driven projects, capability building, and the development of robust reporting and visualization solutions—promoting operational excellence, compliance with international standards, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Your tasks and responsibilities include to:
- Apply accounting and reporting expertise to enhance data quality, transparency and analytical capabilities in close collaboration with specialists.
- Coordinating cross-functional collaboration, tracking progress, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders and leadership for the Group Reporting strategic initiatives.
- Define and scope the strategic requirements for strategic initiatives in collaboration with the experts from Group Financial Reporting, ESG and Compliance, and other Group Finance teams.
- Act as business owner for strategic initiatives, working within the governance and roadmap defined by Group Finance and aligned with IT.
- Collaborate with specialists, teams and leadership to define the transformation roadmap for Group Reporting, ensuring alignment and effective execution of improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to define analytical and visualization needs, supporting specialists in developing and implementing solutions that strengthen the data foundation and enhance transparency in line with applicable accounting and ESG legislation across the organization.
- Partner closely with reporting leads to identify opportunities to increase data transparency, and strengthen business value creation.
- Drive capability building across Financial and ESG Reporting teams in the use of analytics tools and storytelling with financial data to deliver the outputs owned by Group Reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategic priorities with actionable insights, ensuring data reporting supports both compliance and forward-looking business needs.
- Contribute to cross-functional collaboration and perform ad-hoc assignments to support reporting transformation.
- Provide input to and maintain an overview of Financial and ESG Reporting-related changes, ensuring Group Reporting’s needs are captured in the change pipeline owned by Group Finance.

You will join an international organization work across Lundbeck’s global reach. You will be part of our Group Financial Reporting, ESG and Compliance team in Group Finance and work together with our professionals based in Denmark.
The Group Financial Reporting, ESG and Compliance team is responsible for ensuring accurate, transparent, and compliant reporting across the organization. The team delivers high-quality financial and ESG disclosures, upholds strong governance standards, supports financial compliance, and drives continuous improvement in reporting practices to strengthen stakeholder trust and enable informed decision-making.
What you bring to the team
Our preferred candidate has the following professional and personal qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial, or ESG/non-financial reporting, ideally within a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with ESG/CSRD (desirable).
- Experience with reporting transformation, process optimization, governance frameworks, or internal controls.
- Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools (e.g., SAC or Power BI) and understanding of data models and reporting workflows.
- Strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on approach to solving problems.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across functions and seniority levels.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive change.
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to maintain a broad, strategic perspective.
