Your new role
As a patient-centric function within Research and Development, Global Patient Safety is a dynamic cross functional department responsible for the safety surveillance and benefit-risk assessment of all Lundbeck’s medicines, including developmental and established products. We consist of more than 90 dedicated colleagues who strive to successfully deliver comprehensive safety knowledge in a dynamic global team atmosphere. The Safety Operations department consists of 20+ Safety Data Professionals across three hubs located in Valby, Singapore and Chicago. The global team is responsible for handling safety data, including adverse event reports, for Lundbeck’s marketed products as well as medicines under development. We are continuously aiming to do the best for patients by ensuring our processes are of high quality and consistent with regulatory requirements.
GPS is also dedicated to doing the best for our employees with priority on a healthy work environment characterized by psychological and physical wellbeing, supported by onsite facilities such as a fitness center, pool and massage.
Your future team
The position is in our GPS Safety Operations’department located at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby. The headquarter team is focused on supporting Lundbeck’s development portfolio via clinical trial activities, including data entry into Lundbeck’s safety database and reporting, narrative writing, clinical coding, reconciliation and collaboration with safety teams, as well as participating in audits and inspections. In addition, the team is actively involved in process optimizations, cross-functional initiatives and mentoring. What You Bring To The Team
We will hire at the level commiserate with the candidate’s experience. Previous experience is not required though the ideal candidate will have some of the following professional qualifications:
- Background in health or natural sciences, e.g. pharmacist, veterinarian, biologist or nurse
- Previous work experience in health or pharma industry
- Experience with clinical case processing including MedDRA coding and narrative writing
- Experience with database work
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
