Then join our dynamic team in Translational Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetic (DMPK) as an in vitro DMPK Scientist/Research Assistant and become instrumental in advancing our drug discovery projects to develop the drugs of the future for brain diseases.
Your new role
As our new in vitro DMPK Scientist/ Research Assistant, you will support our drug research projects by:

Independent planning, conducting, and interpreting of in vitro experiments in our laboratories to determine the metabolic stability and other important in vitro DMPK properties of new molecules across all our small molecule project portfolio.

Supervising, overseeing and interpreting screening and mechanistic in vitro DMPK studies with collaboration partners worldwide, focusing on metabolic stability, drug distribution and drug-drug interactions.

Collaborating with the entire DMPK department and other parts of the Research Organization for optimal project support.
Your future team
You will join a motivated team of four scientists in our in vitro DMPK section that is part of the Translational DMPK department. Located at our headquarters, you will work closely with the whole global Research Organization and beyond. We in the Translational DMPK department are all enthusiastic about contributing to innovative treatments for brain diseases and advancing the DMPK discipline. Our culture is characterized by openness and purpose-driven experimentation in a non-regulated explorative research environment.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What you bring to the team

You have recently graduated with an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biomedicine, Analytical Chemistry, or other relevant discipline. While professional experience is welcome, it is not a prerequisite.

You come with hands-on laboratory experience in in vitro technologies and/or analytical chemistry (ideally mass spectrometry) and have a good understanding of drug metabolism and disposition principles.

Most importantly, you are highly self-motivated, flexible and eager to learn to become a key member of the DMPK team.
