Senior Analyst, FP&A - Performance Management & Planning

Do you want to shape executive decision-making in a global pharmaceutical company focused on brain health? Do you want to contribute to our mission of transforming the lives of millions of people living with brain diseases?

If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, performance, and enterprise-level finance, you could be the new Senior Analyst we are looking for to join our Group FP&A team for a 10-month maternity cover. In this role, you will play a central part in how we monitor performance, run forecasting processes, and deliver insights that support executive decision-making and capital allocation.

You will work at the core of Lundbeck’s financial planning cycle, helping ensure transparency, strong analysis, and high-quality decision support across the organization.

Your new role

As Senior Analyst in Performance Management & Planning, you will be involved in Group-level monthly reporting, in-year planning and forecasting processes, setting the standards for how Lundbeck understand and drive performance. This is a highly strategic and analytical role where you will deliver impactful insights to improve the decision quality for the Executive Leadership Team. You will be collaborating with multiple stakeholders across Finance and other functions.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Deliver monthly performance reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and business drivers in close collaboration across functions.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses on key topics and partner closely with functional finance teams on deep-dive analyses to deliver consistent, high-quality insights that improve decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Be involved in Group-level short-term forecasting processes, ensuring transparency and a clear link to the company strategy.
  • Develop presentations for senior management and the Executive Leadership Team.

The position is based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Your future team

Lundbeck is one of the only pharmaceutical companies focusing exclusively on brain diseases. Our purpose is clear: advancing brain health and transforming lives.

You will be part of the Performance Management & Planning team within Group FP&A. The team works closely with Strategic Finance, Business Finance, Group Accounting, Investor Relations, and leaders across Lundbeck to ensure a robust understanding of financial performance and forward-looking expectations.

As a key part of FP&A, the team is responsible for consolidating financial insights, managing critical planning processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making at the highest levels. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape how Lundbeck understands its financial performance and how we prioritize investments that drive innovation and improved returns for both Lundbeck and for the people living with brain diseases.

What you bring to the team

You bring a couple of years of experience from a similar role in finance or management consulting. You have a strong analytical skillset, experience in financial analysis, and are comfortable with creating presentations and communicating with senior stakeholders. As a person, you are a collaborator who enjoys solving problems, can handle multiple tasks in parallel, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Relevant qualifications

  • Some years of relevant experience, preferably in FP&A, corporate finance, or performance management with solid understanding of financial planning cycles (budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, etc.).
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights.
  • Experience with SAP and familiarity with AI tools are considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • A curious and collaborative mindset, strong accountability and solid stakeholder management skills.

Our promise to you
