Senior Clinical Pharmacology Specialist – Clinical Pharmacology, H. Lundbeck A/S

 

Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacology Specialist to join our department. Clinical Pharmacology is a part of the Clinical and Quantitative Pharmacology division and is responsible for the clinical part of the translational space between research and development which includes biomarker development. The position is placed at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.

 

The position and your key responsibilities

You will contribute to Lundbeck research and development projects:

  • Serve as an expert within translational medicine in the department and in cross-functional project teams
  • Develop and execute strategies for biomarker development and precision medicine
  • Design and execute clinical pharmacology activities in collaboration with cross-functional study teams and external collaborators
  • Represent clinical pharmacology in project teams in both research and development, including responsibility for clinical pharmacology and biomarker input to global clinical development plans

Qualifications

Our preferred candidate would hold the following personal and professional qualifications:

  • Relevant academic degree (molecular biology, medicine, pharmacist, human biologist) with a PhD level of education
  • 10+ years of experience with translational medicine and/or biomarker development, preferable experience within neuroscience in an industrial context
  • Experience with clinical pharmacology and/or experimental medicine studies from the industry, including knowledge of GCP
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English
  • Excellence in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Scientifically minded, curios and with an innovative mindset
