This is a unique opportunity to shape how Lundbeck plans, measures, optimizes, and delivers communication across the organization. You will play a key role in strengthening data-driven communication excellence, embedding AI-enabled ways of working, and ensuring communication activities across internal and external channels are evaluated and optimized to maximize impact, alignment, and strategic value. 

In this role, you will help drive a more insight-led and agile communication approach across Lundbeck, enabling better decision making and stronger business impact, while contributing to work that makes a real difference to patients, their families, and society as a whole. 

Your new role 

As Senior Communication Manager – Communication Excellence, you will be responsible for driving structure, alignment, and continuous improvement across communication activities. You will ensure that our communication is well-planned and coordinated to effectively support external positioning and relevant employee communication that drives change and progression of the strategy internally. 

In this position, you will: 

• Lead editorial planning across channels, ensuring alignment with business priorities and a focused, strategic communication flow 
• Drive performance evaluation and optimization across channels, using data and insights to continuously improve how we plan, prioritize, and deliver communication 
• Establish and refine ways of working, including frameworks and processes that enable efficient, consistent, and scalable communication 
• Drive and facilitate the adoption of AI solutions in communication, ensuring we remain front-runners in using new technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and impact 
• Advise stakeholders on communication planning, channel use, and best practices based on data and insights 
• Manage and support larger communication projects, bringing structure and clarity to execution 
• Support content production when needed, ensuring strategic impact across internal and external channels 
• This is a role with room to shape both scope and impact, depending on business needs and your experience and strengths. 

Your future team 

Corporate Communication, Internal and External Relations is part of Corporate Communication & Public Affairs and is based at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Copenhagen. 

You will join a small, collaborative team working across internal, leadership, digital, and external communication. At the same time, you will work closely with members of the broader Corporate Communication & Public Affairs team and partner with stakeholders across the business to help ensure we deliver on our priorities.  

We value curiosity, collaboration, and the ability to turn complex topics into clear and meaningful communication. 

The position is based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. We offer flexible working hours and the ability to work from home, but regular on-site presence is required.  

What you bring to the team 

You bring solid experience and a strong track record planning, managing and delivering communication in a complex, international organization and are comfortable operating across both strategy, tactics, and execution. 

We imagine that you: 

• Know how to use data and insights to evaluate performance and guide communication decisions 
• Have experience managing communication initiatives or projects across functions in a global setting 
• Have a strategic mindset and can prioritize what creates the greatest impact 
• Take a structured and proactive approach to planning, coordination, and follow-through 
• Can manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high quality, consistency, and attention to detail 
• Understand how to use channels strategically and tailor content to different audiences, formats, and objectives 
• Are collaborative and solution-oriented, while managing to build strong relationships that enable you to progress tasks and projects effectively 
• Are a front-runner in the adoption of AI and bring experience in applying new technologies in communication  
• Experience from pharma or life science will be considered an advantage.

Annual Base Salary Range: 786 000.00 - 1 081 300.00 DKK gross

At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
