Your new role
You will join our passionate R&D organization, which is committed to bringing the next wave of promising neuroscience drug candidates to patients that count on us. As Senior Competitive Intelligence Specialist, you will act as one of our go-to advisors on competitive intelligence for our R&D pipeline. You will …
- Monitor and analyze developments in the competitive landscape within neuroscience – and activate these insights to support and challenge our projects and portfolio strategy
- Be part of a small team of trusted CI advisors in R&D – liaising with project teams, senior leaders, and other stakeholders across the organization that rely on your expertise to be effective
- Be part of the R&D Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) team of committed and highly experienced project/portfolio professionals, who work closely with senior decision-makers
- Drive the development of the Lundbeck CI community, striving for CI excellence, in close collaboration with your peers in other functions across the organization

You will collaborate with Global Project Teams (GPTs), new asset strategy and brand teams, R&D departments, senior R&D leadership, CI professionals and other stakeholders within and beyond the R&D organization.
Your future team
In PPM in Lundbeck’s R&D organization you will join a team of 25+ colleagues. We are proud to be accountable for Lundbeck’s global project and portfolio leadership. In PPM, you will be part of the portfolio management team along with 4 other experienced professionals. The job offers great opportunities to grow your competencies and knowledge and to expand your responsibility as you develop in the role. Our culture is characterized by purpose – our work is about bringing breakthrough therapies to patients living with neurological and psychiatric diseases.
The position is based in our headquarters in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
- You hold a master’s degree within life sciences, engineering, or similar field; ideally, you additionally have a PhD and/or MBA degree (or equivalent)
- At least 5-10 years of CI experience from biotech/pharma or a relevant technology industry
- Deep understanding of the pharma value chain – from drug discovery to loss of exclusivity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive collaboration across functions and engage with senior stakeholders
- Ideally, you have expertise within neuroscience (neuroimmunology, psychiatry, etc.)
- You are fluent in English
