Fantastic opportunity to join Lundbeck Global Medical Affairs team as a Sr Dir, Head of Neuro-rare, to build up our global medical Neuro-rare team in preparation of launch for two Ph3 Neuro-rare assets in the areas of Developmental & Epileptic Encephalopathies (DEEs) and Multiple System Atrophy (MSA)!
Your new role
In your role as the Sr. Dir., Head of Neuro Rare & Pipeline, you will lead global medical team responsible for medical strategies and communication for Neuro Rare and Pipeline Lundbeck assets, as well as medical assessment of external BD opportunities. You will have the opportunity to build Lundbeck medical team for Neuro Rare therapeutic areas of interest (epilepsies, movement disorders, neurohormonal disorders) and provide leadership for recruited global medical leads for global launch strategies and scientific communication. You will play a role of key strategic partner with Medical Leadership in the affiliates who collect local insights to inform global medical strategies, as well as a key strategic partner with global cross-functional teams, especially Global Project Management and Commercial & Corporate Strategy. We seek a senior, strategic, highly adaptable and accountable candidate, with previous experience in Neuro Rare therapeutic areas, who can lead rapidly evolving strategic Medical Affairs go-to-market initiatives.

You will join Global Medical Strategy & Communication team, who is part of Global Medical Affairs, located at our global office In Copenhagen, Denmark. Our team takes pride in providing strategic medical leadership for evidence generation and communication, to improve the lives of patients. The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, with remote working opportunity being negotiable.
What you bring to the team
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD),
- 10+ years relevant healthcare experience, including 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience with at least 3+ years of experience working with pipeline assets,
- Senior level leadership experience in a Medical Affairs context,
- Ability to work with cross-functional peers including R&D, Commercial & Local Medical Teams
