Senior Director in Liquid & Sterile Production

Your new role
- You will lead an organization of 40 employees, accountable for delivering liquid & sterile products with uncompromising quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- You are responsible for optimizing and developing the area to meet future product demands and requirements from authorities.
- You are responsible for ensuring robust GMP/GxP compliance across all activities and lead continuous improvements and productivity initiatives.
- You will become part of a skilled management team in the area Pharmaceutical Production. An organization of +400 employees responsible for two pharmaceutical production sites in Denmark and France.
Your future team
- The Liquid & Sterile Production management team includes two production managers, each leading their own production team for ampoule and drops production, one senior manager leading the process support team, a lead specialist in liquid & sterile production and a business partner.
- Liquid & Sterile Production is a department with highly skilled employees with high engagement and commitment to aseptic and liquid production. Every week comes with new opportunities and challenges which require you to be able to balance adaptability and accountability.
- You will spend time on shopfloor on a daily basis to support decisions and problem solving, and you are expected to set the direction for how to apply Operational Excellence to constantly strive for improved productivity.
- The team uses each other actively to improve their leadership skills and there is a high level of trust in the group. Social activities within the group are prioritized and valued.
- Liquid & Sterile Production is running with 1 day shift during the week.
- You will collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and global stakeholders, often balancing competing priorities in a high-paced production environment.
- You will be responsible for the budget planning and execution related to operational expenses and investment portfolio.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What You Bring To The Team
- M.Sc. degree in business, engineering, pharmacist, natural sciences or similar.
- +10 years of experience within management. Experience with leading through leaders will be preferable.
- Several years of experience from a highly regulated industry, combined with a solid understanding of GxP requirements. Experience within aseptic production would be considered an advantage.
- A solid analytical mindset where you have demonstrated significant Operational Excellence results.
- Actively exploring diverse perspectives, challenging the status quo and a proven ability to adapt your leadership style to develop your team.
- Being able to prioritize relentlessly and taking clear and effective decisions.
- Reading and speaking English is a prerequisite and Danish preferable.

Annual Base Salary Range: 1 109 000 - 1 524 600 DKK gross.
At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
