This senior role shapes Lundbeck’s financial narrative and ensures transparency, quality, and strategic alignment across our performance and planning cycles – directly supporting Executive decision-making and capital allocation.

 

Your new role

As Senior Finance Business Partner in Performance Management & Planning, you will lead and continuously improve all Group-level forecasting, and budgeting processes, setting the standards for how Lundbeck understand and drive performance linked to the overall company strategy. This is a highly strategic and analytical role where you will deliver impactful insights to Executive Leadership, and partner closely with senior stakeholders across Lundbeck.

 

In this role, you can expect to:

· Lead Group-level in-year forecasting processes, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and strong cross-functional collaboration reporting to the Executive Leadership team.

· Steer the Group Budget process, ensuring strategic alignment, effective resource allocation, and strong governance across regions, supply chain, production, and global functions.

· Partner closely with functional finance teams ensuring strategic insights and deep dive analysis are delivered in a consistent way.

 

The position is based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

You will be part of the Performance Management & Planning team within Group FP&A. The team works closely with Strategic Finance, Business Finance, Group Accounting, Investor Relations, and leaders across Lundbeck to ensure a robust understanding of financial performance and forward-looking expectations.

 

As a key part of FP&A, the team is responsible for consolidating financial insights, managing critical planning processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making at the highest levels. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape how Lundbeck understands its financial performance and how we prioritize investments that drive innovation and improved returns for both Lundbeck and for the people living with brain diseases.

 

What you bring to the team

We imagine you have extensive experience in financial planning, performance management, or strategic finance roles—ideally within an international company. You are comfortable engaging with senior leaders and thrive in a dynamic environment where accuracy and clarity are essential.

We imagine that you have:

· 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in FP&A, corporate finance, or performance management

· Proven experience leading complex financial processes in a global organization, with demonstrated exposure to Executive Leadership or Board of Directors

· Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights

· Solid understanding of financial planning cycles (budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, etc.)

· Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior stakeholders

· A curious and collaborative mindset, strong accountability and solid stakeholder management skills
