As Senior IT Project Manager you will become part of Corporate IT - a dynamic organisation with some 75 colleagues around the world. We deliver digital solutions and secure, efficient operations to more than 5500 colleagues across all business areas and geographies.

You will be part of our Digital Projects & Portfolio Management Team. We are 10 team members in Valby engaged in IT project management, portfolio management and organizational change management. Further we have 3 colleagues located in our Business Service Center in Krakow, Poland.
The position as Senior IT Project Manager is based at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.
We take pride in leading business critical IT implementations in close collaboration with our many qualified colleagues and business sponsors. We emphasise sparring and continuously work together to improve and develop the way we run projects. The department is also responsible for Lundbeck’s IT portfolio management and governance.
Your job and key responsibilities
As our new Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex and business critical IT projects – more of them related to our SAP ERP solution. To do so you will comfortably apply various disciplines within project management and project leadership. You will engage with a broad range of stakeholders from the different business areas across Lundbeck, your colleagues in Corporate IT as well as vendors and subcontractors. You will lead IT projects through all phases from initiation, execution as well as ensuring a smooth hand-over to operations.
We have a strong pipeline of planned projects for the coming years. This offers you an excellent opportunity to develop your project management and project leadership skills by driving a variety of projects across Lundbeck’s value chain.
Qualifications
To be a successful Senior IT Project Manager in Lundbeck you build your results on solid knowledge of the project management discipline combined with a proactive and collaborative mindset. You know how to combine classic project management with agile methods. You have a proven track record of delivering IT projects on time, budget and scope. You are motivated by developing your own and your project team’s ability to deliver excellent results.
Preferred qualifications cover:
- Minimum 8 years of documented experience as IT Project Manager, preferable within Pharma or similarly regulated industries. Experience with SAP implementations and/or Production IT will be an advantage
- High personal drive and focus on delivering on time, scope and budget
- Documented project management certification and/or education
- Confident in engaging and motivating project teams, senior sponsors and partners in successful implementations that create business value
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills and experience with organizational change management in projects
- Experience in handling vendors and subcontractors as this is a substantial part of managing our IT projects
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) as this job requires communication with international stakeholders
