Senior Manager, AI Solutions Lead
Copenhagen, Danish Capital Region, DK
AI Solutions Lead
For the commercially curious and strong AI product builder motivated by turning emerging opportunities into practical business impact, this is a unique opportunity to help shape how Lundbeck applies AI across Customer Engagement, Medical, Market Access and Commercial functions in global and across the world (ex-US).
You will help explore, pilot, productise and scale AI solutions that improve how the business works, how we engage with healthcare professionals, and how customer-facing teams are supported with relevant, timely and actionable insight. Working at the intersection of commercial strategy, customer experience, data, digital delivery and enterprise AI, your role will be to turn promising ideas into solutions that are useful, compliant, adoption-ready and connected to measurable business value.
Your new role
We are looking for a business-oriented AI Solutions Lead who can translate customer engagement priorities and operational business needs into clear AI use cases, pilots and scalable solutions. You will report to the Director, Data, Insights & AI Solutions and deliver as part of the wider Global Customer Experience (GCX) area.
Your scope will be broader than one platform or one use case, and it is our expectation that you will help us build a wider portfolio of AI-enabled solutions across customer engagement, commercial execution, insight generation, workflow improvement and field-facing decision support.
You are not expected to be a deep technical developer. You should, however, be curious about AI, comfortable with data and digital concepts, and able to work credibly with DevOps, Enterprise Digital Enablement, data, platform and vendor teams. You will help ask the right questions, shape the use case logic, challenge assumptions, guide pilots and ensure that what is built is relevant for real users across the company.
Together with GCX colleagues, Commercial Excellence, affiliates, Enterprise Digital Enablement, the Enterprise AI Office and relevant governance bodies, you will help mature Lundbeck’s ability to move from AI ideas to repeatable solutions that can be reused and scaled across markets where they create value.
These are some of the areas where we look for your expertise:
- Identify, qualify and shape AI opportunities together with business stakeholders across GCX, global functions and affiliates.
- Translate business needs into clear AI use cases, pilots, solution requirements, acceptance criteria and value measures.
- Lead selected AI pilots from opportunity framing through design, testing, validation, adoption planning and decision-making on whether to productise or stop.
- Work closely with DevOps, Enterprise Digital Enablement, and relevant functional teams to productise successful pilots into stable, scalable and supportable solutions.
- Stay curious about emerging AI and GenAI opportunities and translate relevant developments into practical commercial applications for Lundbeck.
- Build confidence and momentum around AI by communicating clearly, involving users early and helping teams understand what AI can and cannot do.
Your future team
You will be part of our new Data, Insights & AI Solutions team, which is a part of Global Customer Experience. GCX exists to develop the capabilities needed to deliver strong customer experiences while enabling the business to do so efficiently, consistently and with better insight. The team brings together different backgrounds and capabilities across customer engagement, digital, data, AI, insights and activation. We value curiosity, collaboration and the diversity of perspectives needed to solve complex business challenges. We share a passion for doing what is best for patients and for the business, and we work in a way that combines ambition, trust and a strong team spirit. A day in GCX is rarely boring.
The position is based in Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
We encourage you to reflect on how your potential can best be applied and developed in this role. We know that few candidates will tick every box, especially in an area where AI is still an emerging enterprise capability.
We imagine that you bring:
- Several years of experience from either productizing AI solutions, digital transformation, customer engagement, commercial excellence or related roles, ideally within a highly regulated industry.
- A strong business and customer-centric mindset, with the ability to connect AI opportunities to real business problems, user needs and measurable outcomes.
- Practical understanding of AI, GenAI, data and analytics concepts. You do not need to be a developer, but you can work credibly with technical, DevOps, data, platform and vendor teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across global and local teams, including commercial, medical, digital, data, legal, compliance and privacy stakeholders.
- A structured and pragmatic way of working, with the confidence to create clarity, options and recommendations in areas that may still be ambiguous.
