Senior Manager, Security & Service
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Service and Security area. In this role, you will oversee operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of facility service on Lundbeck’s head quarter in Valby. Your new role
You will head our Service & Security department. The department consists of three teams, and their managers report to you.
- Your department responsibilities are reception, emergency plans and security gates ; cleaning in offices, common areas, production, and laboratories; outdoor maintenance and waste handling; internal postal service, Sport Center and Lundbeck’s outsourced canteen.
- You are responsible for the experience that Lundbeck’s employees and guests have, from they arrive and until they leave the site.
- With a mix of internal and outsourced services, you will work with people management and optimize the service contract setup.
- You have a significant impact on the everyday work life experience of the 1800 employees and guests at Lundbeck’s head quarter.
- Your primary tasks will be at the strategic level, with focus on employee development, process optimization and stake holder management, all linking back to your focus of delivering the best service within your financial frames.
Your future team
Service & Security is a department, where many employees have high seniority and experience. That experience is expected to be utilized through employee involvement, high level of collaboration and physiological safety for everyone to speak their opinion. You are of course pivotal in maintaining this culture.
Your department is a part of the business unit “Facilities & HSE”. You will report to the Vice President of the unit and share leadership team with 4 peers, heading the departments ‘Corp. Health Safety & Environment’, ‘Project Engineering’, ‘Technical asset management’ and ‘Corp. Real Estate’.
Your department consists of approx. 52 internal employees, shared between you, your three managers and your experienced assistant.
You will collaborate with peers from production, R&D and corp. functions, to align expectations and define the right service level. Also, you will collaborate with procurement and external partners, to ensure the most optimal cost base for your operations.
The position is based in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
You have broad background in the service / Facility Management industry, perhaps with experience from a larger company. Knowledge from the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage. Our ideal candidate can be described as:
- You have proven leadership skills and communicate precise at all levels of the organization.
- You are service-minded and take pride in delivering high quality and satisfaction to both customers and employees.
- You are solution-oriented and can handle several tasks simultaneously without losing focus.
- You have experience with budget planning and financial follow up.
- You have experience with and knowledge of standard software, like Office 365.
- You are fluent in both Danish and English, as our skilled cleaning assistants and internal customers have several different nationalities.
