Senior Manager Corporate & Production Controlling

We are looking for an ambitious and performance-driven Senior Manager with a strong business acumen to contribute to the ongoing development of production finance in Lundbeck.

 

In Corporate & Production Controlling you will be managing a highly ambitious team of five dedicated team members with the mindset “We act like we own it”, supporting the production with value-creating analyses and conclusions. The team is a part of Group Finance with approx. 40+ finance professionals. Our work environment is characterized by knowledge sharing, collaboration and trust.

 

In the role as Senior Manager, you will be working closely together with your dotted-line team members from our shared service center in Poland and colleagues in Group Finance as well as our business partners throughout the global organization.

 

Location – Lundbeck HQ, Copenhagen.

 

Your job and key responsibilities

 

As Senior manager for Corporate & Production Controlling you will be responsible for developing a team of dedicated business partners supporting Global Production. Further, you will be responsible for continuously improving our financial reporting and planning/budgeting processes to support value creation across Lundbeck. Your team supports the PDS (Product Development & Supply) organization with financial overviews, analyses and business insights to optimize operational decisions for both short and long-term.

 

Examples of your key responsibilities are;

 

  • On-going development of our Management Reporting
  • Performance Management – how to measure production - identification of Value Points/Drivers, measurement of productivity – identification of pain points etc.
  • Front runner in driving simplification and optimization in our internal processes and towards our stakeholders
  • Participate in projects across Global Production
  • Business Cases – Support in Business Case development, follow-up on Business Cases – develop new processes and models
  • Key Player in securing the Best in Class Production Finance Team Globally
  • Drive month/quarter/year-end closing
  • Ensure that Lundbeck makes sound financial decisions

 

Qualifications

Our preferred candidate is a finance professional, who has a proven leadership track record from another big pharmaceutical company. You have solid experience from working with controlling, auditing, reporting, business intelligence, supply chain and/or financial analysis.

 

Our preferred candidate has the following profile:

 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business or accountancy
  • Solid financial experience from a complex supply chain/production company preferably including experience from line of business such as affiliates, production sites, etc.
  • 3-5 years of management experience from a finance or business support staff function
  • Strong analytical competencies – able to move from strategic plans to the most detailed level
  • Self-motivating can do attitude and a robust personality
  • Ability to build good relations across big organizations
  • Professional competency – You are confident in your professional skills, but you are also humble to the fact that you can still learn a lot more from your surroundings 
  • Global mindset - preferably been working abroad in a previous position
  • Excellent communication skills being able to present complex data/insights in a simple way
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
