Senior Manager / Senior Finance Business Partner, FP&A
Do you want to influence the strategic direction of a global pharmaceutical company and have a strong passion for performance management, financial planning, and driving executive-level insights?
At Lundbeck, our purpose is clear: Advancing brain health. Transforming lives.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Global FP&A team. In this highly visible role, you will serve as the principal finance advisor to the Leadership Team of Corporate, Portfolio & Product Strategy (CPPS) and our Enabling Functions, partnering directly with the CFO Leadership Team to shape strategic decisions, resource allocation and enterprise performance.
This is far more than a traditional finance business partnering role. You will influence company-wide priorities, drive financial transformation, and define how Finance partners with the functions to deliver sustainable value linked to our corporate strategy.
Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?
In this highly visible role as Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead the finance partnership across Lundbeck's Enabling Functions and CPPS. You will be the trusted partner to senior leaders across these functions, helping shape strategic decisions through insights and transparent reporting. You will own the financial planning and performance management framework across these organizations, ensuring financial transparency, robust governance and alignment with Lundbeck's long-term strategy.
You will influence strategic investment decisions, resource allocation and enterprise priorities through independent financial challenge, robust performance management and executive decision support. As Lundbeck accelerates its AI journey and transformation agenda, you will play a central role leading the finance partnership throughout this transformation.
The Enabling functions span across IT, Finance, Investor relations, Legal, Procurement, Shared service centre in Krakow, People Culture & sustainability, Corporate Communication and the CEO and Chief AI Office. Together, these functions provide the capabilities that enable Lundbeck to operate effectively and execute its strategy. They also play a central role in re-allocating capital, accelerating AI adoption, automation and digital transformation in support of Lundbeck's ambition of becoming a truly bionic company.
CPPS is at the centre of Lundbeck's strategic agenda, connecting commercial priorities, portfolio decisions, and research & development investments. As the finance lead supporting this area, you will work closely with Vice Presidents and senior stakeholders across the organization, providing strategic financial sparring, performance insights and decision support.
Beyond business partnering, you will continuously strengthen financial transparency, planning processes, and performance reporting, ensuring a clear link between strategy, execution, and financial outcomes.
We believe in diversity, innovation, and creativity. We believe we are stronger when every brain is in the game because advancing brain health and transforming lives requires just that.
As Senior Finance Business Partner for Enabling Functions and CPPS, you will:
- Lead performance management across Enabling Functions and CPPS, including budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning, while continuously strengthening financial processes, reporting and planning frameworks.
- Act as the trusted finance partner to the CFO leadership team, Vice Presidents and senior leaders across these functions, challenging assumptions and supporting strategic decision-making through financial insights and business performance analysis.
- Drive financial transparency by delivering clear, actionable reporting and insights on performance, resource allocation and strategic priorities.
- Deliver impactful analyses and recommendations to senior and executive management, enabling high-quality and value-creating decisions.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives across the supported functions and drive the future performance management and reporting setup across Enabling Functions and CPPS, leveraging AI, automation and modern analytics solutions to improve efficiency, quality and transparency.
The position is based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.
