Senior Medical Advisor, Medical Strategy and Communication Eptinezumab and Neurology Pipeline

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

As part of the team, you will act as a strategic medical expert supporting and collaborating with various functions. You will be responsible for the development and execution of medical and scientific communication strategies, plans and meetings with internal and external stakeholders supporting marketed products or pipeline projects. You will also contribute to the assessment of new indication opportunities in Lundbeck’s pipeline and business development evaluations.

 

As a Senior Medical Advisor in a global function, you will get the opportunity to develop your Medical Affairs skills and experiences across the value chain.

 

This is a full-time position, located in Valby, Denmark, and you are expected to travel about 20 days per year to cover business meetings and international congresses.

 

Your future team

Medical Strategy and Communication Eptinezumab and Neurology Pipeline is part of Medical Affairs at Lundbeck Headquarters in Valby, Denmark. Our culture is characterized by responsibility and empowerment for the individual team members.

 

You will join a highly skilled team consisting of one Operations Manager and six medical experts, with varying backgrounds and experiences in the pharmaceutical industry. In this team, humor, helpfulness, flexibility, and openness are highly valued.

 

What you bring to the team

Our preferred candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Neurologist or MD with neurology qualifications (research/PhD)

  • Experience from pharmaceutical industry, and preferably from medical affairs

  • Proficient in English and can communicate effectively internally and externally

 

You will work in an agile cross-functional environment where good collaboration skills are a prerequisite, in addition to solid medical and pharmaceutical industry experience. As you will be creating new medical materials as well as reviewing promotional materials, it is critical for this role to understand and ensure compliance to industry codes and regulations.

You have extensive stakeholder management/influencing skills and can lead cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders of various levels of seniority. In addition, you are a collaborative team player, used to manage agile projects from start to end with focus on deadlines. You also master strategic thinking, tactical planning and execution.
