We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project and Delivery Manager to steer our projects and commitments toward timely completion and high stakeholder satisfaction.
Your new role
In this position, you will join an innovative department that is responsible for delivering forward-thinking Solutions within Data, Analytics, and software (particularly GenAI) across all of Lundbeck.
You will play a crucial role in shaping our digital transformation journey and you will be responsible for making sure that we bring our commitments to the finish line in an ever-changing environment where we merge innovation and leverage data & digital technologies to enhance our business.
As a Senior Project and Delivery Manager, you possess:
- Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to shift context frequently, handling both minor and complex projects
- Collaboration Skills: A demonstrated proven history of high collaboration between business and technical departments. transforming aspirations into actionable roadmaps and solutions
- Technical Expertise: Experience with Data and Analytics (D&A) and IT architecture to facilitate project models and technical work breakdown structures for estimations.
- Project Management and Delivery Experience: Proven experience in technical project management and data products/projects is essential including making an effective delivery engine
- Hybrid Methodology and mindset: Utilizing a project methodology that combines typical waterfall practices blended with just-enough agile elements (e.g., sprints, fixed scope)
- Portfolio management: Experience with aligning across different projects, prioritization, mapping out dependencies while securing capacity is spent effectively.
Your future team
You will join a creative, skilled, and innovative department that collaborates daily with Digital Partners, business, and D&A specialists to explore and deliver on Data, Analytics and software projects across R&D, Commercial, Production and Corporate Functions. Through enhanced collaboration skills, you will work towards transforming business challenges into value-driven digital initiatives. Initiatives could be anything from leveraging AI to advance Lundbeck’s pipeline to running large scale BI initiatives as well providing self-service capabilities to decentral analytics team across the organization.

Our technology landscape
- We operate a data platform governed using Data Mesh principles (“Digital Data Platform”) built around Snowflake and dbt Cloud, with supporting tools such as Fivetran and Dagster that can be used in a self-service manner to implement use cases.
- Our software stack includes front-ends built on React and a .Net backend hosted on Kubernetes. The extended landscape supported by Global IT includes Azure, AWS and OpenAI for Generative AI and Microsoft Fabric for Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
What you bring to the team
As a skilled project and delivery manager, you are expected to engage with senior stakeholders and build solid relationships with Digital Partners, Business and IT colleagues. Your experience will contribute to prioritized initiatives, ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and promote the Data and Analytics capabilities within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Capable of leading technical projects and deliverables as well guiding team members based on a comprehensive skillset and experience
- 6+ years of professional experience in running technical projects where data, analytics and software have been at focus
- Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to build good relationships with colleagues at all organizational levels and serve as a trusted advisor to steer cos
- Experienced in high execution skills while effectively removing impediments
- Experienced in the mentioned technologies in our technical landscape or similar
- Experiences in vendor management, data modelling and data / IT architecture and pharmaceutical industry are deemed big plusses.
You will report directly to the Head of Data and Analytics.
