The Corporate & Commercial Team

 

We are thrilled that we can add a new colleague to our great team. We are looking for a Legal Counsel with 2-6 years of post-graduation experience to join Corporate Legal’s Corporate & Commercial team. The team currently consists of 8 people, and you will report to the head of the team, Senior Director, Jakob Østergaard Mikkelsen.

 

The team provides corporate support to and interacts directly with our Board of Directors and Executive Management on e.g. corporate law matters, securities law, corporate governance and management remuneration. As part of Lundbeck’s global journey, the team also provides ongoing legal support to our more than 50 global affiliates as well as commercial legal support through-out Lundbeck’s value chain. This support includes assistance with drafting and negotiation of contracts within a wide range of areas, such as procurement agreements (e.g. IT, supply of raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients and packaging, consultancy services, construction of buildings, large machinery and marketing) and commercial agreements (e.g. distribution and registration agreements).

Your qualifications

 

Our preferred candidate has the following professional and personal qualifications:

 

  • A Master of Laws (in Denmark, Cand. Jur.)
  • 2-6 years of post-graduation work experience from a law firm, a private company, or a combination. We imagine that you may be working as an assistant attorney, junior lawyer or have other relevant work-experience from the private sector    
  • contract drafting and negotiation experience is a significant advantage 
  • a natural curiosity and an eagerness to learn and develop
  • excellent stakeholder management and communication skills 
  • strong legal and business understanding and an understanding of the necessity for pragmatic and actionable solutions
  • personal drive, attention to detail, solution oriented with the ability to prioritize in an ambitious environment; and
  • a global mindset and fluency in English.
