Sr. Medical Advisor, Bexicaserin and DEE, Global Medical Affairs
The Sr. Medical Advisor, Bexicaserin and DEE, Global Medical Affairs- will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of global medical plans. Sr. Medical Advisor will report to the Head of Bexicaserin and DEE, Global Medical Affairs and work in close partnership with the cross functional Neuro- rare team. Sr. Medical Advisor will lead the development and execution of medical plans to support the successful launch and lifecycle management of Bexicaserin and DEE.
Your new role
- Responsible for the execution of the Global Medical Affairs plan for Bexicaserin and developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE) disease area. These will include, amongst others, responsibilities such development of Key Opinion. Leader (External Experts) strategy and plan; scientific congress activities; input to publication strategy, medical content development, training and external education.
- Interfaces effectively with other Global Medical Affairs and cross functional team members such as Scientific Communications and Global Outcomes, and other departments, including Commercial, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across medical, R&D, and commercial functions to deliver strategically important resources and ensure compliance with scientific and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with medical teams in countries and regions to align global strategies with local needs.).
- Collaborates with Global Scientific Communications in support of knowledge generation, including strategy development and review of manuscripts, abstracts and posters as part of the publication team.
- Develop and communicate world-class medical content and compelling scientific narratives for products and market-shaping initiatives.
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with external experts and professional associations including therapeutic guideline development groups.
- Develop strategies, scientific narratives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful product launches.
- Monitor performance against launch objectives and implement proactive remedial actions as needed.

- External: Engage with global clinical thought leaders, professional societies, health organizations, and health system decision-makers.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is hybrid.
What you bring to the team
Professional Competencies:
- Demonstrated medical affairs capabilities, including pre- and post-product launch expertise.
- Proven ability to define evidence needs, create compelling scientific strategies, and influence and mobilize key stakeholders.
- Expertise in rare disease areas, particularly in neuroscience.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate patient pathways and incorporate patient perspectives into strategies.
- PhD, PharmD, MD or MS is required.
Required Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Medical, Marketing, R&D, Market Access roles) or in a relevant health system setting (clinical, pharmacy, pathway design, etc.).
- Experience launching new products or indications in global or large markets (US, CN, JP, EU).
- Strong working relationships with global clinical thought leaders, professional societies, and healthcare organizations.
- Experience with digital and healthcare tools and evidence generation programs (clinical trials or real-world evidence).
Desirable Experience:
- Proven ability to deliver results in complex environments.
- Expertise in scaling best practices across regions.
- Experience in creating and implementing innovative healthcare strategies.
